Firstly thank you for the new forum.
But where are all the old posts etc? There were so many important threads and hope can be recovered.
Hoping important tagged threads return in full.
Seems kinda empty without

idk what you are on about, click “Topics” on the menu, then click “categories” and select one, click it and you’ll see all the old posts…
Yea I like old too but here’s the scoop its gone and not even sure fire was case prolly was not paying bills now we got this rushed even late cause took so long forum so it is what is

Ahh in all categories, at bottom is all tags, click that and they all appear.
I preferred the old forum too.

Our signatures have disappeared, and I couldn’t find where to edit my signature in my profile.

Secondly, there’s only the “like” button; it’s no longer possible to like with emoticons.

Thirdly, I saw a player in another thread complaining that all the images in the gallery have disappeared.

Fourthly, we can’t format text with colors and other elements like before.

Instead of bringing back up the old forum (that was perfectly possible, the datacenter services were restored) they gave us this half assed implementation… They just can’t do something right on the first try.
All our content that is gone, do we get all the media back?

I found if you click catagories, then at bottom is “all tags”, click that and old sections appear.
I thought we had lost old stuff but is actually there.

Hope they bring back the gallery and other miscellaneous. It is major piece of the community and for some reason, we keep gutting it. (extra discords and now the forum)

Out with the old and in with the new.
Most changes are to cater to new players and piss of old. We aren’t relevant anymore. Would be interesting to see if new players have a shorter response time from support too.
They could have given us a heads up regarding the gallery. I know there are a lot of golden shower jokes on discord but that’s with consent.
The old-school Calypso forum felt like a cozy kitchen. The new forum feels like you’re entering a government agency. Well, that’s just my personal opinion.
