I will say that I’m curious to see just how far the ammo and pills take me, but my guess is the starter pack ammo refill is a better path as I wouldn’t have lost ~6k ped TT of ammo.
Without external factors changing, I have absolutely zero intention, interest, or impulse to buy box keys again.
Which is strange to me, because your results are good, just not as good as your hyped up expectations was.
After all you invsted like 1250p on box mu, got back the 1250p just from pills, and around 1000p more mu from amps, rings, mayhem tokens. Sure you not received as much skill pills as you would get from 4k usd starter packs, but you still got a lot of skill pills too.
Less universal ammo is no issue. The more universal ammo you got the more 1% from shrapnel conversion you missed out.
I would open as many boxes as i could with break even after box mu and withdraw fees, if the rings would actually worth to be looted. Currently all rings are trash in the boxes.
Side note, you can convert your pills that you may consider useless, into ammo too (Neurostims B/C/Y/Y2/maybe even Easter Eggs) youve got almost 2k PEDs of ammo in it.
Just drop the pill stack into your refiner tool.
Oh yes, that is a very usefull information for newbies, i used to forget it is not a basic information everybody have as newbie, this should be in the tutorial too, somewhere between the WASD buttons and leave rookie chat.
Not great but not bad. But these results are the reality for the majority of us. Just certain people seem to get lucky on rings and rare tokens from boxes. In fact, 4000 boxes I’d be lucky to see 2 crappy aeglic rings. I’ve tried jumping on so called waves sooooo many times and it doesn’t work for me.
well I bought over 10k classified boxes I never had any ring from them. It’s quite shameful for me, but i had 5 rings in 2021 so i consider myself ultra lucky, my choice, my lost.
Lost? You cant loose on classified boxes, those are free.
Any mu is extra there, even if that is NeuroA only if no rings.
Try changing server not all servers are equal. Never had luck on caly.

Not true in my case I had summer boxes out 2020 in my storage opened it in october 2022 and it still gave me the summer 2020 ring

Wanted to take some time to think about it before responding myself. What I think it boils down to is: Perception matters. While my results were average to above average, as most have confirmed, it was still a bad experience for me.
So while my expectations have been re-calibrated, the other issue is value recognition. What I opened is technically $4,000 worth, but it doesn’t feel as though what I opened is worth $4,000. My viewpoint on that will refine over time as I learn what to sell, what to keep, use, and how far that ammo will take me.
That is where you are wrong. You didnt opened 4000 USD worth.
You opened 1250 ped / 125 USD worth of boxes and got about 225-250 USD value from them.
The 4000 USD was the TT ammount you put into the game, and you got that TT into the game.
