psychotropian = skill with focus or nerve blast chips :wink:

you purchase them duh. no serious focus chips are cheap from auction but firestowm chips are very exspenive expisaily powerfull ones.

look in the auction for the chips, or find someone selling them :wink:

  1. Go to the TT and buy an Implant from the Surgical category as well as the implant inserter/extractor.

  2. Equip the inserter/extractor, then click to activate it

  3. But the implant into the window that pops up then click insert

  4. After insertion, close the window

  5. Open your inventory

  6. Drag the firestorm or other chip to an empty quickbar slot

  7. Use the hotkey for the chip to equip it

also, make sure you buy some Mind essence (ammo for mindforce)

yes. MF is expensive to skill in, considering the lowest firestorm chip is a lvl4 with like 12 mind essence usage per click…

Not to mention expensive since the stuff you use for ammo is 400% from auction.

but if you do do it its worth it but its mostly a fun toy to play around with :slight_smile:

As I posted in another, I’ve just acquired the firestorm skill. The lowest is the moderate firestorm chip (lvl 4). But if you are new, you wont be qualified to use it yet. Taken me several weeks to get here, but then again, I dont grind it. You can check how qualified you are by selecting the chip and looking at the info. It will say you are ##% skilled in using this chip. The wording is odd. If it says you are 8% then you have 92% more to go before you can use it. To get here, I’ve been using mind blast to hunt snables and the like.

Also be sure you have the right implant to match the chip levels you are qualified in using. If you’re just starting, Im sure the TT one which is level 1 through 3, will be sufficient.

P.S. the teleport chip is outrageously fun. just dont TP into a buch of angry critters :scared:

ooops…also there is a Society type that uses mind force type names for ranks.
