I recently say a Paradox helmet in the auction, and its stats were better than Nemesis, but the going price was far lower than Nemi. Why is that? I hear the other parts of Paradox protect in different ways. Is that the reason? How good is a complete Paradox (as far as it exists…)?
I know Skam has all or almost all
I would like to know the stats for each piece also.
I am not sure how Paradox performs now with all the changes MA has made to the armor plus the variable dmg addition in the past couple VUs. Before these VUs paradox looked great but the decay was horrible. I was told it was one of the worst decayers in the game, maybe that is why the price is still low.

I seem to remember seeing a screenie of Dub in full paradox (not sure about gloves but I know it had the rest)
Paradox is an odd armor indeed, though the thing about it being different protections on different armor parts is bs (and yet MA leaves it in info shrug). Maybe this was like this once, but not anymore. All parts I have seen have 16stab 33cut 11impact 10shrap 10penn. This makes it quite effective against atrox and most mobs, though nemesis would be better for things that do all impact (Thorio, Bery, others)
Also is good against bots that do shrapnel+penn, and personal cannons.

it probably still has the stigma attached to it as being high decay armor and it has other competitors out there with the animal series that are keeping the prices low on it. Once the gloves drop it will be another full set on the books. I debated about keeping my paradox arms and starting another set of armor just to try but then I just sold them (figured I got enough stuff as it is)

Once and for all… there is no difference between armors in decay now… Armors decay is solely based on the amount ot protection they give against any given mob; i.e. if you wear shadow, supremacy, rascal, angel, nemesis or paradox when hunting argo young for example you will get same decay @the end of the run since no matter what you wear it will absorb all of the damage taken from them. This also means you can now choose freely between armors only based on how much protection you actually need (i.e. if you only need 10 protection from trox young to hunt em efficially and without dying there is no need to use an armor that protects you from 20 damage since all it “helps” is added decay…) I think theres a thread about it somewhere on forums that might explain it better than me if its unclear ;).
And paradox is indeed a very nice armor now, trying to get a full set myself, although that will be hard atm since gloves (to my knowledge?) has not dropped yet…
edit, all parts now have the same protection btw, was a big difference before, no idea if its a bug or not… and the numbers mentioned earlier are spot on for now atleast

Paradox is rather good now, it doesnt decay half as much as before. Before I could take it to a 200ped run and have 35 ped decay when I got back. Now? Well Secret Girls said 9 ped on 300ped ammo I think. I havent checked it too much myself but its so much better now.
The stats are better then nemesis for cut/stab mob. 33 cut and 16 stab makes it great on mobs such as troxies, goki, trax, argo, umbra -and acctually quite nice on Hogglo even tho rumor is they only do impact, which I dont agree on -since then rascal would work better and it certainly doesnt.
And no, no gloves has dropped yet

aw that sucks i liked how the stats were different for each part it made it so unique. thanks for the info on armour i wasn’t sure how it all worked yet been to busy with movie competion.

Wrong optima. its . Durabillity/TT , example nemisis 3000/211=14.21(decay each dmg. 0.014 decay or something like that. And we say u kill atrox dominant wich we say take like 80-110 dmg . 80-45=35 , 35x0.014 decay= what the armor decays.
Sorry for going of topic . About the paradox i think it SUCKS. Since most moobs make impact dmg and it only got 11 impact!

Umm… NO!
From Client Loader and tested extensively:
The armor durability system updated. Now, only one durability value is shown for all kinds of damage. The armors TT value does not influence its decay rate when hit. The higher the Durability stat is, the more abuse your armor can withstand.

Hi mates..
I got a almost full paradox like skam (missing gloves)
And i am happy 2 tell you some stats about one hunt of mine..
hunted 200 ped of ammo with a Handgun with my full paradox on… and in that 200 ped of ammo the aurli’s and kreltins decayed my armour with a total of 6 a 7 peds… i myself think paradox is a very good armour.. considering atroxes have no change and run away when they see a purple dude coming =) … Conclusion >> Paradox is pretty rare.. but i think better then nem..
The only disadvantage is.. they protect very bad vs some mobs…

It was right before the VU changes I think. You just need to be updated
I was using a set the other day -the gloves… now i can say the filling up the damn set cost an arm and a leg 
but i didnt have to worry about repairing for quite a while.
As for protection it says its different on each part but… has the same stats for each piece, so I dont know. I went on a 7 hour atrox hunt with em no problem. You can definately tell when they found the vigi gloves i was wearing :laugh:
Hunting anything else was a pain in this armor though as the protection sucks against impact.but find one that does cut/stab damage you’re set. Where’d all the mob damage lists go that told what kind of damage each mob does?
gotta admit it looks good though got quite a few compliments from people in town
I myself almost have full paradox, (male) im missing 2 peices
thighs and gloves.
The armour is amazing now, ive always wanted it but it sucked so bad so didnt bother.
If anyone knows anyone selling thighs or gloves male let me know please.
And yes the armour is great now, atrax atrox and even hoggolo.. basiaclly its solely for cut animals.
