Are you going to run this project for some university job or do you plan to learn the game with it because trust me you can be extremely successful using very very few basic information in mining and you don’t need more than 2 degrees to operate it.
Oh no. I am a Project Entropia BETA player, youngling. So I can tell in one drop weather an area is good or not, by simply shouting hello. If I do not get a claim, I move onto another zone. You also have to play Marco Polo with system, repeating numbers back to it or it just shuts up and moves.

So lets compare EU to a bank, each one of us has an account and we have valuables sorted in it. The mining system is a lot like this, the bank has branches with time locks that decides when each branch can be accessed.
So the question is what kind of security INGAME does MA use to protect it’s players assets ? I know about e and Lambert, I know how to access my account at the various branches. But what happens if I try and access someones account…
So here is the rub… It’s a question of intent, I am going to attempt to gain access to where and when I perceive other player’s assets inside the game are.
In terms of my actions in the game, there is no different between what I do and what another player can do, except that I KNOW WHAT I AM DOING.

You can’t really accuse a hypothesis of violating Occam’s Razor unless you propose an alternative hypothesis which is equally good at explaining observed data using fewer assumptions. I mean, you can compare the bias variance decompositions of hypotheses and judge whether a gain in parsimony is substantial enough to warrant a slight loss in observation match quality, but that involves more effort, not less; you can’t just invoke Occam’s Razor to prima facie dismiss a complex explanation of something as wrong or unwarranted.

The short answer is “so that it could be utilized strategically.” The broader point is that if a clever and intricate system could be utilized strategically and a simple algorithm could not, then they are not in fact “exactly the same.” The former provides additional hidden affordances, growth opportunities, and creativity outlets for players which the latter does not. This is not an endorsement of the correctness of the TC’s loot theory, but I don’t think Occam’s Razor is relevant. Occam’s Razor is a heuristic advocating for parsimonious explanation ceteris paribus, not a proclamation that all systems ultimately are maximally parsimonious.
