Yes..
if you mine…you gain mining skills
if you hunt…you gain hunting skills
if you craft…you gain crafting skills
You will always have the skills..unless you sell them.
The only real limiting factors are time and money.

For the mid-level player a dedicated medic with a good fap (ek-2600 / fap-90 or above) can be an invaluable asset when hunting bigger mobs. However as a medic will spend much less in medical supplies (fap decay) than the hunters will in ammo/armour/weapon decay you need to decide how to share out the loot.
Although it’s a good idea if the medic also has decent hunting equipment then if the hunters do get killed with the mob almost dead, the medic can finish it off.
Gotcha. As far as splitting the loot, it would be just me and my GF most of the time. As long as she has supplies, she really dosent care much about what she gets when we are together. In SWG she was personal medic. I kept her supplied with resources in return

There are two different series, the fap-5 and above (all looted, although the fap-5 is in the trade terminal as well) and the ek series which are crafted. Different faps have different heal rates and costs. See one of the many charts around for details.
The adj-fap, imp-fap and mod-fap are such incredibly good items (low cost, high heal) that they change hands for ridiculous sums of ped and are considered by many to be unbalanced.
AHH ok, sorry for that. Now a crafter can make those right? Just like they can make anything else? They dont need any form of medic skills do they? Sorry again. Im very used to how SWG was set up and till I can get PE to work right, I am blind as a ground mole.

I am also from SWG and I am downloading Entropia on my other puter as I type. Redoing SWG is an understatement, the community is deffinatly on the decline. As of this morning it has been nerfed back to the stone age and after almost 2 yrs of playing , paying and grinding I had my Jedi. So today I said a tearful goodbye to what was once a truly unique and deeply loved game. I have found entropia with hopes that I may be able to rekindel an emotion that just this morning was nothing but deppression and desperation.
From the sounds of you ppl on the forums here this community maybe just what I need.

As a crafter you need the crafting skills. They are devided in tools, armor, weapons, furniture and attachments.
The things you can craft are:

To start crafting you need a blueprint (bp) and a bp-book. In the iteminfo of the bp you can see the material needed to craft one item. Go to a crafting machine and select your bp. Then select the materials needed (you see that once again) and you can start the crafting.
Every bp has a level, a lower level is easier to craft than a much higher level. As far as I know you can see your change of succes when you selected the crafting machine and the bp.
And you can’t craft everything, some items are only looted.
PS. I’m not a crafter myself, so this information may not be 100% accurate. :smash: :smash:
I am not a full time trader but have dabbled and found that when starting out you fail quite alot at first and the items you make are of a low condition(not worth much) This improves as you get better, I have heard the best thing to skill in crafting with is basic filters(before the new VU i heard this) as they take the least amount of items Improve your skill in something like this first and you will end up with better success rate with other items.

Goest–I know, I did the same thing this morning. I had a CL50 that was a master WS with some merch and he was a Master Carb. Had to take him to a damn CL1 
0 fighting now. And here is the best part. They nerfed ALL the componets. They have 0 stat’s, and to experiment on a weapon, it is ONLY for dmg. They took out ALL the spd, HAM, every thing. This is BEFORE the stone age. This is even pre-ameba. I have already sent a message to a friend and told him to let his guild WS know that he can have all my stuff. Which sucks cause I have a TON of WS componets. Like 2 little houses full along with enough AS componets for about 30 full sets up Comp. Im going to give him all my money to put into his city hall. THat should keep it going for about 2 years LOL
Ardorj–SWEET!! Those are the things I love to make Ever since I started SWG I was a crafter. Especially weapons. Some armor. So this will be something I am going to be eager to get into. Thank you.
Rotten–Yep, classic grind per-say. I have done that alot. So this I am expecting to have happen. And seeing as how I am going to honestly only be in there part time cause of RL, im not to worried about being the best…for now :silly2: Kidding
