Perseus is cheap as hell now. As soon as people realize what a QoL feature it is to grab a set they will move back up. Math is hard, but that MU really only costs you around 2PED/K cycled and is completely neglible. People spend more on pills.

This isn’t about balancing managed, this is about players not understanding the market and undercutting each other.
I realized this huge mistake in real life a couple years ago. Me and a competitor were fighting about a huge customer and kept undercutting each other until one of us won. After the deal was done someone asked me “What the fuck are you guys doing? There is no third competitor, you should have agreed on a price and split the jobs” which made me realize what an idiot I was being. Same could be applied in game.

Thats why we need more people to compete.
So no monopolistic deals are made and everything is ruled by the market.
If people are willing to craft at break even or a loss, its up to them. Other opportunities will be elsewhere.

Free market is the balance manager , it cycles up and down.
When the game contracts during “the sky is falling” events , more people become traders.
But yeah , I agree with your method to stop the bleed of mu.

It’s simple, either you can easily resell it with profit, and then this price was too low. Or you can’t and then the price was correct and probably even still too high, in the current state of things.

Its not that they don’t need armor, vast majority choose not to do content that requires it.

I’ma say problem is crafters undercut each other.
Majority of players are penny pinchers so they never gonna get a set anyways. Those of us who like to have fun each have a set in inventory though, don’t think market itself changed
I mean if there is no demand for the armor due to said circumstances, then of course the suppliers will undercut because they want a piece of that pie still rather than none at all. One major piece that’s missing out of this puzzle is lack of markup worthy resources, why buy a set to go hunt a specific mob when you’ll net 101-103% avg mu in return. Nothing to be gained so no reason to buy.

I think it used to be. I never had so much trouble selling anything like from 2024, never. And now it way worse. It is just my opinion, based on my own expirienc. And I saw how much discount are now. Like mayhem stuff from 120k to 69k and still no buyers.
Well there are mobs with markup and Perseus is a perfect set to make it easier to do these or increase kill speed.
If people would bother looking at the provided screenshot they’ll notice that there is one two day old listing and the rest is less than a day. People are buying, someone is just making poor business decisions.
Edit: Price can go down due to an oversupply as well
