Get Your Herman LAW-R Mk. 1 (UL) From Arkadia

A new weapon has been released on Arkadia as a starter weapon, while it isn’t the first Herman UL weapon to be released since the “HERMAN RAW-202” which I thought was a typo but I was not sure since I’ve only heard of the Herman LAW-R it is no doubt the first one that is not crafted but given as a mission reward.

The Herman-RAW-202 does exist, has a repair cost of 202 PED when finished, and no doubt is not a weapon for new players but that is an assumption not a fact. The 202 PED repair cost has been verified by another player in game. I’m not sure why the figure is so far off on Entropia Nexus but nothing is perfect. That’s why we have this forum. To get accurate current data for in game play.

I do not know anything about the weapon, but it’s predecessors draw a hefty price now in shops that were originally TT UL weapons. Follow the instructions at Arkadia Archive to get your Herman-LAW-R Mk. 1 (UL) and while you are there get your free Arkadia Hoverpod!

I have a RAW-202. The full repair cost is 120 PED. The figure you quote is not the repair cost.

Too bad its another laser rifle

(adj) Frontier rifle is good enuf as starter gear

I’ll change it. I got my information from Entropia Nexus, so he needs to adjust his figures too. Thanks.

You are of course, correct on that count. The Frontier Rifle and Knife are superior to just about anything I have seen in game period. If someone is willing to invest the $20 in the shop gear, they won’t regret it. I wrote in another post about the Frontier set and noted that even Vets were using the armor. Maybe not for Uber hunting - I’m not sure. We could use a veteran players assessment of the Frontier gear added to the forum.

I have no idea what the figure on Entropia Nexus is supposed to represent.

Thanks for your authoritative vetereran’s perspective @krazykat - I’m sure that Entropia Nexus will correct the error (if there is one) once they confirm the data. They seem to be a very legitimate website trying to give us current data to replace what has been outdated or outright lost from entropiawiki. I hope they are successful. The wiki idea allowed players to edit the data which is what made it so successful. Entropia is simply to large a project to be managed alone. Perhaps whoever is running the website can learn from the Wiki’s approach, or perhaps they did and someone sabotaged the data or simply made an error.

I won’t start this thread because I think a veteran player should moderate it, but what about having a thread for corrections to Entropia Nexus, problems with the website the operator could read, suggestions, an open forum established right here for Entropia Nexus. It wouldn’t be hard to do at all and the current format of this forum supports it? What do you think?

Yes indeed. I’m not saying that the figure given in the misc. section (ped/repair) is wrong, (though it’s not the item repair cost) I just don’t understand what it means or how the figure was arrived at. I’d welcome more information.
