I heard a rumour that Generics are dropping much more frequently again. I have not experienced this as of yet. Has anyone her looted one this new VU yet? Or is it truely a rumour?

They drop much more - just look at auction. Their price has dropped by 50 already.

From my understanding Generic can be looted from anything.
Indeed from any mob, anywhere, anytime 
I looted one yesterday on an Exarasaur Mature! - Power to the Newbies! 
Got one in a team hunt from a warrior gen 02 yesterday.

I’ve looted them strictly from small mobs in the past… exars, plumas and snables
Since this vu I have not looted one, but haven’t hunted yet :laugh:

i got my 2 from a caudatergus olds aswell
yanno its threads like this that kill the prices. Peeps read this and say hey there dropping all over the place and wont pay what they sell for…I have noticed that every time there is a VU everyone goes nuts with panic on prices and such. Either killing the price of one thing (generic) and raising the price of another (sweat). relax people if you just play as you always do things will mellow out and we will all be happy again. learn to expect this when they announce a VU and prepare for it. By the way looted a generics last night and sold it this morning for 250. So all is good.
i team looted one a long time ago on a feffoid. Got bout 800 ped FOR it too
mine just sold for 230 each they were only on auction for 8 hours

It’s like this irl markets as well 
It’s just human nature that after a big event (irl say an election, war, etc… and in PE a vu) the markets are going to go loopy. It is not strictly a matter of “relaxing” however, often times ppl want to sell those items like generics, furnishings, etc. as soon as possible b/c they suspect that they will be dropping more often shortly.
In the end, however, its the drop-rate that really “kills” the prices.

I am hoping they become common as dirt. I need me some Implants, lol. And this thread is not effecting the price (if it is then GREAT!!) the frequency of the drop is. And another thing, happy is not 400PED Generic Prices…

They sold for 260 before VU so I auctioned 2 of them for 240. But noone bought them 
So I got pissed and sold them for 150 each just to get rid of the crap

They went easily for 300 peds in buyout before VU. Now their amount in auction has doubled or so and selling price is a bit lower.
