I wondered if I should post this here, it could be seen as some kind of promotion or something..but since the only links will be to things that don’t get me anything I decided to in case someone finds it fun or a way to make a few quid to finance their EU addiction.
I was recently quite annoyed with my utility company and decided to change to get rid f them, and maybe save some cash too. I went to a site that’s pretty famous (and independent) here in the UK http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com
While there i started browsing being nosey …and found some interesting stuff apart from what I went there for. Some of the people there have found pretty neat ways to either get free stuff or make decent money online or doing little jobs for companies like surveys and mystery shopping. I think a lot of them are mums with little time, or just do it as a hobby.
I’ve seen people advised to go flip burgers here to finance EU, and also that around 15 dollars a month makes a difference and is better than sweating..which I’d agree with.
I didn’t actually think that some of this stuff really existed, I thought it was a scam spammed to folk by shady companies…but they really do exist.
Example..you find a mystery shopper site. there are many on that site that have users there advising how well they work. You go out, have a McD meal, report back and send in your reciept…get paid a few quid and a freebie meal, same seems to go for pub chains often (which is nice for some of us..free beer 
) . They dont pay a fortune but they do pay..and enough for a EU addiction probably if you are finding funding it hard nowadays.
This type of thing is international so the companies in that section span more than the UK if you search around.

I was quite interested and amused so read a lot of the posts…even if you aren’t interested in doing it, it appears that employees of banks, pub chains and burger outlets etc, live in fear of a mystery shopper reporting them badly…sooo…if you happen to go to McD, act like you are one. Ask for a reciept, stare at their name tags, and take note of the time ..generally look like you’re inspecting and judging (normal diners don’t ask for a receipt so it’s a huge clue to them)…see how much nicer they treat you if you do that .
There are tons of proven and legit freebies and stuff on that forum, things that Nokia are running on phones that they pay you to use like this :-

Even Royal Mail will pay you in stamps to post a few letters in a test panel…handy as I run out of stamps a lot due to using emails so much.
Hopefully some people will find something useful to help earn some easy deposit money or just a few freebies for fun. I’m a big fan of free stuff arriving in the mail…cheers me up for the day and it’s a nice change from the usual bills :laugh:
