In the run-up to the next Festival of Firepower I’d like to get people opinions on the best time to hold it. It will almost certainly be on January 3rd, and that’s a Saturday. For tha majority of people this means no work, and usually no work the next day…
If you’re a FoF regular, or if you Would enter the FoF if the timing suited you better, please indicate the time-slot that would suit you best in the poll above.
Please note, this poll may not Decide the time of the FoF, it is intended to give me an idea of the best rough time people would prefer…
All times expressed are in MA Time, and therefore are also UK time.
Multiple selections are allowed, in case you have more than one.

So, as they pass the first furlong it’s 3pm, by a nose from the early leader 6pm. Tucked up against the rail and making a good showing is the outsider 9am, and these are the main three contenders as they race towards the first jump…
Oh that’s a great jump by 3pm who extends his lead, and as the bunch start to spread out now it’s 9am in 2nd, with 6pm tucked in behind him closely for 3rd place. Behind these 3 an age old rivalry is being acted out, as Midday and Midnight battle it out for 4th… What a race this is turning into…

Most of the recent FoF’s (the past 3?) I’ve had to miss because of my work sechedule. However, our office is going to be closed from Dec 22 through Jan 1. As it stands, the best slot is going to be the 3 PM slot. I’d be able to participate in most, if not all, of the FoF if that time wins. Meanwhile I’ll be cheering for it! :wtg:
So, I’m seeing a definite leaning towards a mid - late afternoon start…
3pm and 6pm are pretty much tied for the lead currently…
If I were to split the difference we’d end up with a 4.30 / 5pm start which, oddly enough, is exactly when we’ve been doing it the last times :laugh:
