I can guess the meaning is similar to that of “entropy”, but before this game I have never seen the word “entropia” 
Without googling the word “Entropia” ive always taken it as a word relating to “Trophy” which relates to Hunting. Now im not so sure, so going to go check.

I am a Romanian. We use the exact spelling and pronunciation for “entropia” as you probably perceive the word “entropy”…
What I am really trying to say is that this a bit more fun for Romanians
I did physics at A level (and hated it) but of more relevance I read the PE back story when I started so I know what it means in the context of the game.
i didnt know, dont know yet but will know soon…
I found out what the word meant years ago thanks to George Carlin. I later came across it again in some college course.
Entropia is a play on words, taking the word entropy (on which this world is based) and adjusting it slightly to make it sound like the kind of name someone would give a world.
I thought it was some adjustment of the word “Etopia”, the perfect world. :rolleyes:

Well the word Entropia doesn’t exist actually. But the name Project Entropia came about because we have a state of entropy because we are at war with the robots and want to destroy them or at least keep them from destroying us. BUT we can not destroy them because we need their advanded technology that enables them to teleport to any space. Which is how they get on Calypso and past the ships that are guarding calypso.
If you read the history of PE you’d know the above i’d post a link but it’s stratics is down mabey gone. i think MB has a section here just search.

I do know the meaning when it’s related to information theory and binary codes, which is sort of closely related to math (that stuff is taught during certain math lessons if you study information technology). But I’m not going to throw it at you all, it would spoil the fun of finding it out.
