Funny thing is that the auction clock is still running.
If i update the login screen the Expiring auction items keeps changing.
Too bad for the people who have 0-bid items expiring with noone there to be able to place that last minute bid.
Will they get the auction fee back?
Realy think auction timer needs to pause when the system is down.
Bertha has been fixed, and now monitors not only the Headline News page of the EU website, but also the Support News and Developer’s Blog pages.

If this is maintainence. Then that means that it was on a schedule.
If it was on a schedule, that means it was planned ahead of time.
If it was planned ahead of time, that means we should have had some prior warning.

Comm’on, can you really imagine they will release the message like “We apologize, but our servers suddenly crashed” or “EU was hacked and was down for few hours, but now it is ok”? What did you expect? 
i still cant login - hangs on authorization 
weeellll technically it also is maintenance when I try to fix a crashed server
I can understand that things break without warning. While it would be nice to have a little warning, it might not have been possible. I was in the middle of a almost profitable hunt when the servers went down.
I would be nice to know what the exact problem was, but I expect we will not get that information. In any case, it was in the middle of the night where I am, so I just went to bed.
I’m sure things will be up and running again shortly.

Entropia Universe maintenance finished
The maintenance is now finished and the Entropia Universe servers are back online.
Good to know that we’re back online :p.
Problem started for me at exactly 0:00 MA time.
Killed a mob → loot lag (no message, no window)
Killed another, still nothing
Friends in soc say: “Loot lag”
Killed three more mobs, decided to wait for the “no loot” messages. Nothing happened, dead mobs dissapeared.
Message to soc: “hmm gonna try and see relog fix it”
…
aaargh servers down, oh well, bedtime then.
…
Over 9 hours later, check EF, oh figures, EU still down.
Not having 24/7 customer support is bad. But not having (capable) 24/7 tech support … :scratch2:
