[HEADING=1]Entropia Universe 19.3.0 Release Notes[/HEADING]

New Features

Construction Interface Rework
[ul]
[li]The Construction Interface has been completely reworked with a modern interface, offering improved visuals and a heap of new functionality to make planning and crafting more available and engaging for both advanced and new players.[/li][/ul]

Changes
[ul]
[li]Blueprints with producers (blueprints that produce required components for a blueprint) now display as an expandable dependency tree via the Overview/Dynamic buttons in the Session tab[/li][li]Dynamic Mode: Shows real-time requirements needed to produce the item for your initially selected blueprint[/li][li]While in Dynamic Mode, if your current craft satisfies the base blueprint’s needs but a different blueprint is selected, that blueprint remains pinned until you select a different blueprint[/li][li]Overview Mode: Displays all producers as a static expandable tree, expanded one level at a time[/li][li]Required Tab: This list feature allows you to plan and purchase required ingredients based on your current configuration directly from the Construction Interface[/li][li]All ingredients/icons/renders displayed in the interface should be left clickable for details, and right clickable for actions[/li][li]Craft any owned blueprint directly from within the dependency tree, provided you have the required ingredients[/li][li]Realtime Updates: The producer tree will update in realtime reflecting your latest construction attempts[/li][li]Switching Blueprints: Select specific blueprint instances from within the producer tree without switching tabs (the default selection will be unlimited/highest attempts limited) [/li][li]Crafting animation shows which ingredient types are being used visually for a craft[/li][li]Session logs are now tracked per-blueprint type within a single crafting session, displaying all blueprints attempts as an expandable list[/li][li]Copy raw session logs to clipboard[/li][li]Copy CSV-formatted session logs to clipboard[/li][li]Logs will still be cleared upon closing the interface[/li][li]Construction Interface is now fully resizable[/li][li]Moving to the browse tab auto refreshes the construction interface[/li][li]Added a refresh button to update any stale information instead of needing to re-open the construction window[/li][li]Color coded minimap added to the dependency tree to more easily overview and navigate large producer trees[/li][li]Collapsing and expanding producer tree views is possible by right clicking the producer tree background[/li][/ul]

Fixes

Construction Interface
[ul]
[li]Rendering: Completely overhauled rendering system should now resolve any black window issues. If problems persist, update your graphics drivers as some older versions can be blacklisted by Chromium. [/li][li]Performance: All new chromium interfaces now updates at 60 FPS and is fully synchronized with the game clients framerate [/li][li]Caching: Rewritten chromium cache system now updates dynamically, preventing any chance of stale data between game sessions[/li][/ul]

Known Issues
[ul]
[li]The input fields in the Construction interface have a known issue with using shift for typing upper or lowercase letters, this will be patched[/li][li]Progress window can sometimes get stuck behind the Chat if overlapping, requiring to first move the chat in order to move the progress window, we are working on a patch for this[/li][/ul]

ARIS

New Features
[ul]
[li]Thanks to your efforts in gathering Hyperium for Nora Gretz, her experiments have led to a major breakthrough. The compound she developed can be dispersed into the ocean, neutralizing its corrosive effects on boats and ships in the surrounding area. While vessels are now safe, the substance remains highly dangerous to humans, though.[/li][/ul]

Changes
[ul]
[li]Added feedback when the door opens after killing the Cryomusoids in the Cryo Lab instance[/li][/ul]

Fixes
[ul]
[li]MindArk fixed a code issue that was causing the Spina-specific damage buff received when killing the bosses in the crashed Spina ships to become way too powerful. The instances are now active again, we apologize for the delay![/li][li]Fixed an issue where the set buffs from the Hyperion armor were not displaying the decimals correctly, resulting in 0% being shown for the buffs with a strength of 0.5%, for example. This was purely visual.[/li][li]The Necroid Challenge is now correctly contributing to the Attribute meta challenge[/li][li]Fixed a lot of issues related to vehicle spawning and driving[/li][/ul]

Known Issues
[ul]
[li]There are still issues with disappearing buttons for the doors in various instances. This seems to be a platform issue much like the destructibles we used previously in other instances. We are looking into workarounds.[/li][/ul]

MindArk and the Planet Partners strive to ensure a smooth and problem-free Version Update. Nevertheless, even after extensive testing some issues may arise after release. Such issues are often addressed via mini-patches directly after a release and in subsequent patches. If you feel that the possibility of encountering minor issues or bugs directly after a Version Update affects your gameplay to an extent that Entropia Universe is not enjoyable, please wait until the mini-patches have been released and any last minute issues have been resolved.

Its a pretty big Crafting Update

Not sure when the ban wave and Bp removal is coming though - they said by end of the month.

The new crafting Ui looks great, but sadly, its not fully functional, right now, when crafting something which requires residue to get it to full tt, it doesn t work.

Well I was told next patch they would fix my LA. Hope they followed through when I check later

Just a major overhaul to one of the core systems? Really? That’s all you did MA?

Uf, rendering within construction terminal is bad. My eyes hurt :frowning:

The “log” is even worse.

Game crashes with Out of Memory message after about 10 crafting attempts with the new UI - got it twice in a row now … anyone else got this ?

Is this the final state of the log? Just a binary, bascially, “yes” “no” you got stuff and not the TT amount?

Type: Bug? (or itended to avoid clutter? please confirm)
Location: Crfting terminal > Session > Overview.
Description: “Expand All” function only works to the first tier of materials within a crafting tree, ignoring further steps down.
For ex: Armatrix BC-40 will only open up to Simple 2 Plastic Springs, while further step down in the tree, which is Simple 1 Plastic Spring (required to craft Simple 2 Plastic spring), stays collapsed.
Workaround: If you manually open Plastic 2 Spring (which will show Plastic 1 Spring as a step), after press “Collapse All”, and after press again “Expand all” it will open that step correctly, but only for materials you manually opened the window before. Which means: Hardened Metal Mounts will stay collapsed (because it requires Standard Plates, another step in the process), while Springs path will be open now.

Crafted 20 to check.
No crash. PC memory stable.

I think i got used a bit. “Browse” is probably the most impactful one. Blur on white/grey letters and numbers are, probably, the biggest issue (you feel it sharply going beetween game and forum right now). And this tab is, mostly, composed of it. Overall, rendering needs improvement.

I did another try, aparently, if i select " use residue option" it does use the residue but if i select myself the residue to be used and dont select at same time this, it wont work.

Well…
the crafting window works for me. No crash on 1st attempt with 2 bps. The comp I tried on crashed consistently on even trying to open voting before this vu (oh, I didn’t try that just now).

The bugs and ???: too many to even remember off just a couple of mins. It takes not testing stuff to an ENTIRELY new level.

Positives: yes. I guess a couple found so far.

So, biggest bugs:
My crafting did not put shrap returns into the total, so my loot window gave a higher result than crafting window and the two output formats.
I had an issue with animal residue stated as exactly double what I actually had in inventory in the old system. That is still there now, but one window also said I needed 10x as many mats for all stuff as truly for the bp (the centre one).
The scroll window is limited but now there is only one page, so we MUST clipboard or csv and export to see them. The notes are ofc much too short to cater for any extended list.

That’s all I’m going to write for now - not checked what bps have ‘gone missing’ today…!

We will continue to update it, and any missing information should be added back in.

Yes, for now you need to click “Use Residue” for it to work, but we will patch it to select automatically.

The Nora Gretz NPC just has dialogue no actual mission.

If you haven’t already, please try restarting your PC and then trying again.

If you still experience crashing after that, please add a comment in the feedback/bug thread with some more details and we will look into it.
