I was just wondering if anyone knows offhand what font is used for the Entropia title? (the “entropia” part)

Heh, i researched that alot when making this site.

I just couldnt find it, then i went to…

…and answered all the questions to try and find the font used, took several attempts as the word “entropia” consist of mixed upper/lower case characters and doesnt use the whole alphabet.

The nearest and most likely i found was the “Univers” font style, which sounds pretty right, as project-entropia is supposed to be a “virtual Universe”. :wink:

Im pretty sure the font used is a modified version of “UNIVERS” font.

Guess MA took the font into some 3D program like 3D Studio Max and made renderings with it from there. :slight_smile:

Hmm -

Univers doesn’t seem to match right - the base font doesn’t match. And identifont gave me FF Mulinex - which REALLY doesn’t match!

I’m going to try Identifont again.

So what did you use to get your graphic? Or did you just take it from the PE graphic?

Would you mind if I use your graphic as a base?

this is the closest ive found, although it is not identical.
I’ll seach through my 30,000 fonts to try and find a match :eek:

Introducing the ENTROPIAN font

Well, since I couldn’t find a good match for the Entropia font, i decided to make one of my own. I’ve posted it for anyone else who wants it.

This is a True-Type font, so it should be compatible with most computers.

Right now, this is release 0.1, as it only has letters. I’ll add numbers & punctuation later on - v1.0 will be a complete version.

just fyi… the Entropia on the loding screen isnt a 3d render just beveled

And es good work on te font.
