The cargo ship Solar-9 sent a distress signal to the Exodus Space Station while on approach to Calypso, warning that their weapons and main drive had been disabled, and that the vessel was being boarded by unidentified space pirates.
Orbital personnel have been unable to reestablish contact with the Solar-9 or determine its coordinates, as all transponders on the ship appear to have been destroyed or deactivated. The Calypso Defense Force expects that the pirates intend to bring the vessel to a temporary pirate or smuggler base in some remote region for unloading, before abandoning the vessel itself.
The Solar-9 is part of the Helios Shipping cargo fleet, and was on a routine flight to Calypso with a large shipment of goods for the frontier world. EBN has been unable to reach Helios for comment.

Well after reading thedata , and digesting it, I have this feeling we’ll be heading into the wild black yonder to find this Captured ship… (And yes I suggest Captured as it seems as of late, we overo n the Arkadian Star System have had numerous bouts of Smuggler activity. IFN Intel suggests that it could be some new prototype.. Possibly a mech or maybe even a new space Vehicle that will be useful for Combating the pirates or even might include a new form of weaponry. Potentially it could be a new Particle Beam weapon.. But even IFN Intel is in the dark on this one.. And if it carries missles.. God Help the Privateers and Motherships out there already…
Looks like I might have to go suit up and head into the recesses of psace to find that ship… After all , when you are a space pilot you gotta do someting to help the cause for the betterment of mankind.
