Can someone explain how PvP works in PE?
I have considered venturing into the PvP areas but before I do, I would like to know;
If I get killed (Hey, it could happen! 
)is my opponent able to loot me and deprive me of my hard earned n00ber gear?
Also if I PK others - is looting available to me? ( I guess this is pretty much the last question from another perspective
Are there any unspoken rules of conduct to follow in PvP areas?
Players looting other players can only happen in PvP3 at the moment
Noone can loot you in all other PvP areasā¦ I worried about this too when I first ventured into boxing rings etc :tongue2:

and then when they can loot you itās only stackable. No items, PEDs, ammo, bombs, probes. But if you were mining say bye bye to all your finds.
Only in PVP3 though.
As for unspoken rulesā¦ hmmmm, donāt PK at teleporters, donāt PK at revival terminals, donāt PK people in the middle of killing a mob(not all people will follow theseā¦ only the ones who arenāt jerks ). All this changes in PVP3 though.

You need to visit TT to get yourself the toxic immunization thinger first tho, otherwise youāll die as soon as you enter PvP3

a nice and comfy place to be eaten or shotā¦ or grab oil lol
ultima they cant loot your clothes or armor in pvp3, just stackable items like minerals, tailoringmaterials, ores..

:scratch2: Made several trips to oil rig to see what it was all about, well it is all about bored high level people playing God and killing whomever they want whenever they want. Not keeping line tight? Bang your dead,to many in line? Bang you are all dead. Oil Rig line makes me feel like I am in front of a firing squad just waiting for the ready, aim, fire command from whatever random murderers are there to get off on killing helpless newbs just trying to score a little free oil! Going to stick to sweating circles were death comes from a random mob just trying to defend himself from being sweated dry! :yay: So newbs? Leave the Oil Rig to the Rig Pigs, āNO OIL FOR YOU!ā BANG!

A really good PVP place to go is the arena at Twin Peaks. Donāt worry - you cannot be looted, but you can go there, get killed, and get Dodge skill - a great skill to have when you get good enough to hunt robots.
