If I remember right there was some problems with either beaching or repairing clothes earlier. Somekind of bug which would cause cloth to be uncolorable or unbleachable or unrepairable or something.
Now Im asking this because as some of you might know I happen to have a dress :silly2: and in last VU it became colorable(!!!). (Which strongly suggests its tailorable but the description text still is different from all other tailorable clothes I have.)
I hate idea of having it colored permanently to some color but if bleaching works just fine I could get it colored now with one color and later recolored with another - just to fit my mood and other clothes.
Soo.. long post for simple question: is there still bugs in coloring?
AFAIK coloring bugs were wardrobe specific. some things WOULD get bugged, others would be fine..
Example, any Reilly Boots crafted during that period will always be white. any paint is added to them, and they turn grey. .. i think it will always be like this. theyāve fixed it since, and any new reilly boots crafted can be colored i believe.
but itās odd. that they have some ādifferentā database entries for reilly boots.. some work, some dont..
so .. try coloring it. if you cant bleach it, support case every day until its fixed. =)
i have a pair of white reilly boots - when originally listed on auction they did not say āuncolouredā in the info - they also didnāt say this when in my inventory or when worn.
I decided to re-auction them one day and all of a sudden they became āuncolouredā. They are still white though.
queen stiletto boots donāt seem to colour either.
ā¦ sry MA no offence ā¦ such a huge programm will always have bugs and if PE would be bugless then we still have to use a bugged operating system ā¦
this bug was due to decay when bleaching.
because you was alowed to bleach even when you suposed to be at 0.00 tt(due to server latance).
so TT become in - and create a bug.
i now that bug was removed , you are alowed to repair clothe with 0.00 TT even if the bleaching make it litel under 0.00 ( and i guess bleaching do not go under the 0.00 now too)
so i think there is no more bug for bleaching without bugged clothe like stiletto (F) you can not color or bleach well , like the old white reilly.
stiletto (W) (bug in name) is colorable and bleachable.
other and final info , you can bleach only cloth that was color after vu 6.1 ( when bleach come out)

Yellow would be cheerful and cheap.
Purple would look royal and still be reasonably cheap.
Pink would be too girly
Queen Stiletto (W) is colourable. I had a pair, coloured them, and sold them for a tidy profit.
Went and bought another 4 pairs to try colour them - Queen Stiletto (F)ā¦and am now stuck with 3 pairs of boots I canāt colour, and canāt sell. And I am NOT impressed.
I wonder if repairing them might help though.

Hmm. purple. It is a regal colour, would look good with your aviās colouring and hair, and stand out nicely.

here is another mindark support response that arrived this afternoon
i just bought a pair of uncoloured queen stiletto boots.
however for some reason i cannot put them into the colourer.
someone just told me that only certain pairs are colourabe - however there is nothing written about this anywhere.
could you either;
make them colourable
take them from my inventory and return my peds

if you repair they still ābuggedā like reilly boot.
its same bug.usual when MA repair that kind of bug , old item ābuggedā still in game.
due to MA statement " we do not change item in game to not disturb the balancing" ā¦
i think maybe stiletto (F) is now colorable , but i am not shure.you need ask to taillor how it is now after VU

painted orange doesnt look that bad. if you get a noob colorer to do it, it kinda comes out pale beige-y light brown. looks pretty good actually. =)

i stoped tailoring in november.
and before that , stiletto was bugged in form you know the wierd thing on legs.
i send my self suport about that.
i send also suport about the (w) .
their repaired the (w) and put (F) for an VU ( 6.3 i think)
it was som day after i left tailloring.then the BP buyer make som and it was (F) but buged in color , and still bugged at legs ā¦
