game crashes when opening message center

Can’t play the game on my old laptop (which I was before on low setting) and when I tried the character creator on my PC got the message “you do not have enough RAM for this application” 4 Gig RAM is not enough! My gaming laptop died on me a week ago so I might not be able to do anything until I can get that replaced.

Unplayable now with my pc never change a running system. Why change something noone want always make that

We are unable to replicate this. Which settings are you playing at?

Try updating the graphics drivers, and turning on GPU Accelerated Rendering in options.

I’m sorry to write this- but i really thought they- Devs of Entropia can do better- really, but this is way worse then update from 2024. And yes, old pc and old laptops are now out for sure. there is not a single thing i like in this update, not a single one.

Fu-d that i log off, i’ll wait for next update. Btw my laptop will handle witcher 3 but not entropia.

this is just sad.

Performance improved for me but ultimately a lot of other issues that need to be addressed.

So i have a lower video card than most of the guys I know and the game runs much more smoother.

Btw guys the game will reset the settings so try before you press Play to go in tools and put the game of safe mode.

Still troubleshooting.

  • Put game in safe mode, still crashes.
  • Tried pushing Y key instead of clicking message center, still crashes.
  • Tried with GPU Accelerated Rendering both on and off, still crashes.
  • Tried on a seperate pc, still crashes.

If you can please remove my log of system notifications, that might help.
Please do not remove my notes.

Didn’t vote but is a yes/no, ava update was ok but reflective GI-Joe skin looks like plastic. Was same when CE2 came though :).

Repair terminal is ok but i think worse than previous.

2D map seems influenced by fallout green map (yes was meh on fallout also), can’t really make out terrain type old 2d was better imo. Could be a get used to thing also tbh.

3D map is nice addition (shift+M), however would be better if switched over in map window/replace 2d, rather than as now that creates a new screen.

Not checked much else.

I`ve tried touching the auctioneer and it squeaked…bit too shiny yes :))

I rather like the changes, think my graphic card works a bit less, i can still see some textures not loading after using TP`s but that is rather minor and i guess it will be fixed.

Map cursor is a triangle, if youre not really paying attention you cant really see the direction indicated.

Would like gradients of color on the heights rather than this hybrid of topographic map but i can live with it as it is. - i admit, didn`t get time to tinker too much on options, etc so i will delve more later. For now, was afraid of worse, looks surprisingly ok so far

Finderwindow is WAY too big. Map looks like a womit with altitudelines :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:. Cant find 3d map? Teleporting is quirky and messy now. Cant figure out if im actually is deciding myself when im teleporting or if its just lag. Autodropping bombs now lacks the symbol that im actually doing it in automode

lots of bugs:

-chat window ignores the colours I have set for specific channels

– mostly fixed: the chat text area is now fine, but the channel name that prefixes the typing area still does not reflect the colour I have chosen for that channel

-when copy/paste from a sticky note to chat, item links do not get copied as links, but as simple text

– fixed, thank you

-map can no longer be zoomed out to complete world, this was very useful, as I could zoom out and then zoom back in to a specific area I was interested in

The removal of buyout percentage from auction is insane. I like being able to add multiple items at a time and shop search is HUGE but no buyout percent is just… ugh.

Thoughts thus far:

New codex looks great, fixed bug and search function is good

Icons on screen look cooler, but some are squished

The Auctioneer and Technician were exact same model

Terminals = do they need to say “trade terminal” with a flashing text when opening each one? I know what I just opened. Repair terminal is a great upgrade - added functions are great.

Map: TP symbol is UGLY/AWFUL/and not useful. My location icon is difficult to see and I worry about those that are color blind. I see “yellow blobs” in places but have no context what they are nor is it useful. Does the map have to zoom in some each time? Map should be static unless I tell it to do something.

TP chip = this needs major rework!! I can’t hardly see the range of my TP and no indication of where I clicked . this is disgusting change.

Waypoints are too big, when I have 40 claims to dig up the whole map is covered in black squares. Plus they’re drawn over the player icon so you don’t know where the hell you are.

Inventory still not scalable, and as mentioned earlier why is the ore finder radar so damn big?

Oh, and what bright spark decided to default to very high settings?

It’s okay.

You can select near were the sex option is how you want to sort the auction by BO, markup etc.

I hope all those small things get fixed tomorrow now again on the bright side i see how more smooth the game feels and I like it.

Game is performing better for me, until i open auction, map and even settings. Resulting in horrible performance loss and even crashes. There is something not right about the chromium implementation it seems.

And, but that is nothing new, MA should really have a human do some testing before release. Every time issues come up after release that could (and should) be found during testing.
