Tonathan at Ironhaven is kind enough to give locations for individual mobs and the locations of various levels of these mobs. The locations are roughly correct but not exact which I don’t mind as I enjoy searching around, it’s part of the fun.
When asking about damage types of certain mobs, particularly Robots, he refers to “Energy” damage.
Here is an example of his response :
"Hello, Derelict Warriors primarily deal impact and energy damage types."
What is the meaning of “energy damage”, I can accept that it will probably include burn, but what other types. Penetration does not really seem to fit the description. Could it include electric as well ?
So I asked asked him LOL, He says, Energy damage is anything from a laser attacks , Plasma attacks, electric damage and burn damage. However if you ask “What damage types are Energy” he says, Burn, electric and Penetration.
Anyone have any thoughts on this ?

I just hunted derelict warriors which Tonathan advised were Electric and Impact but after trying various armour and plate combos, there did not seem to be much if any electric damage, seemed more like impact burn pen. I am wondering how accurate the AI information is in respect of damage types based on the knowledge that the mob locations are not totally accurate
Warriors seems to have close to the same dmg as caly ones, i mean types. Sorry i didnt saw you mean the warriors, i was giving info of general aris robots but yep warriors are Pen, stab, cut as far as i saw but dont hunt those or when i do its with vigiadj+pulsar 2, didnt tested viceroy+5b with them
Ok, so I aquired adj vigi 6a specifically for ARIS and explains why they hit me so hard and it’s not working out as expected. Altough moondogs response would be up my alley… Thanks for the info all. Curious to find out what dmg types we will find.
I guess it is a new learning curve then, with some spill over of Caly damage types mixed with random new stuff
