Yesterday i was hunting again. And as always i got quite a few crits with my nice apalo.

But not much later this happends. That’s just why i dont like crits.

What do u think. Those crits u get are nice and save some ammo (but i dont really know if they are compensation for stupid misses, sometimes i shoot and shoot and i dont hit it, while th mob is walking towards me so it cant be lag, and often i get crits after that), but they can cost u a lot more when i get killed while you have pumped quite a bit ammo into a mob.

Its a new feature…it wont be removed :stuck_out_tongue:

You CAN estimate…just hunt low level mobs from now on :stuck_out_tongue:

Criticals for the win. They are here to stay!

Can dish it out but ya can’t take it huh? :stuck_out_tongue:

I love the crits. Awesome addition.. 'specially at the rig.

what’s an apolo ?
a nasa mission to the moon or did you mean opalo ?

Yes it’s a big rocket you can shoot and instant kill the mob.

Ok misstyped it twice (apalo and apolo) but you must know what i mean

yeh

and crits to stay btw

and you should amp that opalo btw i dont see one on that screenie

Personally i like the CH, they add an element of suspense to hunting

I voted YES. I think they should stay, no matter the weapon used. I think critical hits give skills a reason for beeing  … and that’s both the avatar’s and the mob’s criticals

It’s amped. No matter how n00b I am I know you don’t deal out 12.4dmg with the Opalo without an amp since the max dmg is 8.

The shuttle is called Apollo, not opalo

Yes its amped, but you can see the snable has zero health left, so i would be wasting pecs if i shot it with my amp on. Have two OPALO’S with and without an amp.

While it sucks when I get killed by an otherwise easy mob b/c of a lucky crit by the little (and sometimes big) son of a gun, getting a crit with my Katsuichi Valor really rocks the big one. Got two of them yesterday and both were over 100. XD It’s nice not having to search and learn a new higher level weapon to be able to get over 100 dmg, so I’ll take the random crits any day.

critical hits. i hate critical hits. ive learnt to live with them, but they wind me right up. What I dread the most is me dishing one out, as in my experience that means im about to get 3 off the next mob or 2. which means i have to keep my health at 90-100% and only hunt those that wont kill in one critical hit. Which kinda makes hunting a bit crap for the next 5 minutes.

im convinced that CH have been introduced to prevent mid-lvl people (which i am not, very noob) going after mobs some might consider too big for them, while giving the noobs the oppurtunity to have a bit of glory and the ubers save some pecs.

I like them and think they add a little realism to the encounter.

in the same time damage dealt by mobs was changed from a fixed amount to a range, which made it way more easy to hunt bigger mobs.
criticals are a good compensation for this, effecting low, mid and über players. now the low skilled can hunt bigger mobs (they hurt less on average now) but übers might have some problems with big mobs when getting an unexpected crit (so they might consider hunting in full gear all the time to prevent from accidental deaths).

to sum it up: crit hits rule

i like crits …most of the other games got them…now when PE has crits 2…i love it more…usualy you do more crits than the mobs…and if you hunt weak mobs theyr crits dont afect you so much…crits are very good if you have long range fast shootin riffles cause you have a better chance of kilin the mobs before they reach you

let em stay.. I dont even get much crit’s but it’s nice.. not always when you get em against you but still let em stay

and yes it Opalo

Yes, I like the crits to for a lot of reasons mentioned, but on the other hand…

I found this spot NW of Orthos that I hadn’t been to before the other night. There was a valley of Trox AOA’s and Warrior 04-06 there. I loved it. But those damn AOA’s crit me hard and often. So I got tired of TP’ing back to them, so I just quit after a while. I can take an AOA without a crit. I can come back and take it if I get crit, that’s fine. MA is making money on the round trips I’m making with my tp chip.

However, upon reflection, the fact that I got tired of making those round trips, and went and did something else that took less ammo, and less decay MA in effect shoots themselves in the foot. I would have stayed their for a couple more hours buring ammo and decay for the fun of it, but the crits wore me out and I ended up going back to my land to skill and kill (got another trax alpha global too so it was all good).

Not saying its bad, but MA may want to review the frequency, a few less and I would have given them more.
