You stalwart Entropians who submitted entries can be proud of your work - a truly superb body of work put forth by each made it tough to single out winners.
Each of the submissions is worthy of praise, for diverse reasons. It was a privilege to view this memorable event through your eyes. The universe has grown, and we might individually never experience it all, so I will be forever be grateful to those of you who are generous with your knowledge, experience, perspectives and insights.
For these excellent memories captured for posterity, I thank you.

Church of Lootius Haunted Harvest : Night of the Living Mobs
On a hot Zychion night…
Entropians arrived from furthest reaches,
Called to Citadel Plaza at Lootius’ feet
For The Church and TheNun, in pursuit of fun.
With the prayer spoken proud
To the revellers all around,
With The Agent, present and prepared,
Eager Hunters and Healers, The Faithful and The Bold
Saw the sky, lit with whimsy
Signal the Harvest unfold.

But, lurking in shadows,
Hate pounced from treacherous hearts.
The enemy within sought chaos and fear
But Lootians, unfazed, made them pay dear.
All joined in the fight, for the right
To Party!!!
In the soft glow of that dawn’s sun, we thought the night was won,
But soon from every quarter,
Vile beasts, sought to wreak slaughter.
THEY WERE NOT DONE!

From the very walls they burst!

Soon surrendered their loot,
Yet still they persisted,
All thoroughly misted, and dusted in gold
The battle raged into the day,
Beneath that benevolent gaze,
Wrapping the faithful in glorious haze

all anger and teeth
bathed in fire and light
unbridled rage met Entropian might
all fought, many died
until we took their last hide
and in that moment of moonlit serenity
appeared a divinity
to warn us, we learned
our victory was yet unearned!

With the monstrous upon us
We drove our attack
We fought as one, fearless,
unmatched and peerless
We claimed that final bonus[/B]
[B]Our hearts rose to meet the dawn
but in an instant, we were shattered, forlorn
With one left, briefly, to mourn
Dread silence above… such complete devastation.
The smallest among us had laid us all low - no army, no nation.
Green bled to white in the blink of an eye
We saw everyone die
Zychion lost, to feathers and fluff. Those little buggers have the right stuff.
