Well the time has come, i’m poor (1.5 ped) and got some sweat (like 60 btls). The question is: Can I make something out of that miserable situation? I mean is it possible to earn some money by trading sweat with my ethereal resources??
Probably not.
You might be able to sell the sweat, trade with the proceeds and eventually build up some capital, but only if you avoid all the fun activities that involve expenses, such as healing, fighting, crafting, mining, etc. Even then, it’s unlikely, as trading itself costs money (auction charges) and you’re starting with very little capital (possibly not enough to buy goods in the first place). As in the real world, you need capital to start a venture.
Your best bet is to make some deposits, then either have fun blowing some money on the fun stuff and gaining skills, or get all serious and buy some goods for the aforementioned trading.
Cheers,
Virnai.
There’s always the oil rig, or you could explore and hope to run across dung or fruit.
Oil rig is free, but you could take a while to get to it (I swam along the south shore most of the way) and then you might get chased off every 10 mins by players who don’t want to share, or just killed by them (it is dead centre of PVP area).
Dung is randomly scattered across the world.. so far I’ve found 44 of it, but I’ve done a lot of exploring and wandering, so I’d not call it easy to find..
Fruit - well, I’ve heard of people collecting it, but I’ve never seen it myself, so it’s probably less common.
Do you have a weapon? Or armour? Or any other odd stuff?
I’m thinking you must have other things too, because of the amount of money I’ve made with sweating - it’s been enough to get me a weapon and do a little hunting too, and I haven’t reached my sweat cap yet.
hmm i’ve got an Axe, Shin pads, medikit, maybe i should sell that? Do mentors provide any sponsorship?? One told me that i’m to good to be a disciple but i think i’m not that good.
Too good to be a disciple probably means on some of your stats levels.
Most mentors don’t give financial support - in some cases they’re only interested in the rewards they get when you level up.
I don’t know about selling your stuff..
I don’t use armour myself, and I’ve never had a medikit, so I’ve not looked at the stats and prices of them. Somebody else might be best advising you for that ![]()
With the axe, (so long as it’s not broken) you are able to hunt and so you could make some cash back then. Maybe join a few other people going for low level mobs.. team hunting is a bit more fun IMO ![]()
You’ve hit your sweat cap and still don’t know how to play the game - something fishy here.

Gotta say that I dont like ur suggestion. I dont understand why some people think or even suggest that mentors sould sponsor for other people playing?
What is wrong with depositing on ur own or if u cant do that, then u gotta figure out to make some peds to play for - Like collecting dung and fruit.
But even if u would find a person that would be ur mentor and give u free stuff - u are prolly to skilled for that now when ur are capt in ur sweating.
Whats your sweat level, I though MA increased this since they increased the amount of sweat available through a single sweat focus??.
I wont go on I assume you know how to play the game and forgive this if it sounds like I’m calling you stupid I’m not, but are you sure you have reached your cap and not just going through what us sweaters call a bad patch??
or are you receiving the you are to attuned to the universe junk??
Ive not really answered your question here, just given you more questions to answer (sorry about that).
To be a disciple you have to have newcomer status and this goes in a few days as you gain experience, so you can not be a disciple, however the only benefit of the mentorship from your point is the help. And you can get that here ![]()
or from many ppl ingame. If you got an axe you should be able to hunt as long as it still has some condition. I use my medipak all the time its great but thats what I am skilling in, so for me its Goblin Armour, axe 1, jester d1, fap-5. But i have deposited if I hadnt, I would use the axe and hunt small mobs around troy or camp phoniex.
Have you got all the tps in Eudora if not you could take a trip and find your missing ones.
One of the better tips, is when hunting I seem to do better when in a group and although you run the risk of having to share a HOF the various options allow that to be distributed fairly, you shouldnt die too much when your in a team and because you dont use the weapon as much as when your on your own you wont lose as much decay either.
I hope this helps and made some sense ![]()

well if he has 60 100ct bottles he’ll make a pretty penny to start off with a full set of pixie, fap5 and bunch of axes. being capped and not know anything. does smell alittle.
I assumed he meant 60 units of sweat, although admittedly he did say bottles.
Cheers,
Virnai.
Is there a difference between units of sweat and bottles of sweat?!
60 100ct bottles
?!
And where are you supposed to find fruit and dung? ![]()
60 count of stacks x 100 bottles each = 6k that is differance
its big from 60 bottles..

When you get sweat it appears as a bottle with a number next to it.
The number is the number of units, the bottle is a bottle. ![]()

u coudl wodner for days not findign any ,then suddenly u see some dung when u re not expsecting it
i think i get them most often when i am killing something, but maybe thats because i am focused on the screen more then

Fruit and dung can be found on the floor all over Eudora never found any on amethra yet but I guess its there aswell.
try this site im not sure wether it contains fruit locations but def worth a visit
Wiki Pe
To see fruit and dung you have to be walking there used to be a guide on here somewhere but I can not find it. If you are running you will not see it.
It is often the case of stopping for a minute then sometimes a piece of fruit appears on the ground (or dung) then of course click it to pick it up. If you walk to far away it will disapear again.
Hope this helps

Ok, I think I’ve got it. Bottles stack up to 100 bottles, and then it starts a new stack. I didn’t know this as I haven’t had 100 bottles at once yet. ![]()
As far as the fruit and dung goes; you know when you’ve found some or do you have to scour an area for it? (i.e. it’s tiny)
Do the fruit grow on trees? ![]()

Sweat is now stackable in larger numbers than 100, they changed it this VU ![]()
As for Fruit/Dung you have to scour the area for it, and no it doesnt grow on trees ![]()
Tip: Use 3rd person view, zoom out as far as you can, and angle the camera about 45 degrees down so you looking down just in front of your avatar. Walk when looking for fruit/dung dont run, its much easier to find. After a while you will start to get the feel for where fruit spawns regular, and how to spot it ![]()
Fruit prices are quite low atm, but when taming comes into effect next VU expect the price to start rising. Even more so when the speculators that have stockpile vast amounts of fruit start running out. In a few months time i can see some players making a living out of fruit, and it becoming a viable alternative for newbies.
oh just to add, my sweat gathering skill is 148 and i can still sweat \o/ ![]()
