Hi folks again. My name is Nhung.

Introduce myself: I am a novice tamer. Just reached lvl 17. I mainly tame Daikiba daily. I sell my pet in twin-mall, 2nd floor, here. I also run my own Pet service, and you can find it here smartPET service

Introduce to the campaign: The reason why I create this campaign is very simple. I tame pet daily, everyday I get like 3-4 new pets. So you can imagine after weeks, months , how many pets I can get. It’s not that “alot”, but still many. I know that many people aren’t interested in having a pet. Why?

  • Pet is almost useless, and costly.
  • Tamer use their pets to gain skills, so if you are not a tamer, there is no reason for you to pay to buy a pet.

The pet market now is very “silent”. We can say almost inactive. But there is still some who wants to own pet. The reason why they do not want to pay for it now because it’s useless.

That’s why I create this campaign. This campaign will help you, who love having pet, to have a pet that you dream. You can have a pet without paying a pec. My hope for this campaign is increasing potential customer for the future. I do not mean to destroy the current pet market, which is almost dead now.

Can other tamer join this campaign along with me ?

Yes. I welcome all tamers who want to join this campaign with me. Very simple, you just provide the time and place where you can meet customer, and your “food deposit” requirement.

However, this campaign is not for trader or reseller, who use our honest to earn profit. If you want to get pet from this campaign, you must have “food deposit” into your new pet.

Firstly, you give “food deposit” to the tamer, according to the pet you want , food deposit can be vary. The tamer will feed the pet by all your food deposit. Then he will give pet, which is fed by your food deposit, to you.

It means only customer ,who really want to have pet and be ready to take care his/her pet, can get pet from this campaign.

The pet market is indeed a tad inactive … hopefully MA will soon implement a great taming / pet VU.. you’ll see the market go up again :slight_smile:

It is a good initiative, just keep in mind that pet can be TT’d together with the food, so this does not prevent resellers from taking pets seeing if they can sell and then TTing them.

And man, you are really diving into the taming world, you either know something we don’t or you just really like pets:)

Price of food is not its TT price. You forget the fruit :slight_smile:

30 peds of food equal 60 peds on the market. So if you tt the pet which was fed , you will loose half of the price.

As far as I know, not many want to buy pet. So how many outthere willing to pay for pet with huge amount of food in it ?

Customer provide his/her food, not the tamer. Tamer’s responsibility is feeding the pet with that food and provide the pet after that.

Yes good point, sorry about a temporary brain freeze on my part, I keep all my pets unfed, they perform better when they are hungry.

It is nice to see someone so enthusiastic about our profession, hope you stick with it and don’t give up even if nothing happens for a year or so. It is a long lonely road, but as you can see there are a number of us who keep the faith, so welcome to the club:)

Thank you for your encouragement. I have been in this game long enough, more than 3 years, and seen many success stories. Most of them who succeed today, was the starter in the past. The sooner they started, the more successful they are today. I could say it’s too late to compete those successor in other field ( crafter, hunter and even fapper :wink: ). So this profession is a chance for us to success in the future.

My plan is not for just one year. Current plan is reaching as high as possible in our profession, and I know that even lvl 50 is not enough. So one year to reach lvl 50 is too fast to me.

Young tamer is encouraged to get pet from this campaign. Clicking pet to “greet” is a good way to train your skill. But having a daikiba stalker to click is more fun.

P/s: I saw your bid on the 12 peds Whip implant . I wanted to outbid you too, but I think I should save ped for taming lore and zoo skills :wink:

What is average cost of a pet anyways? How many peds in food do they require daily, and what are stable costs, just out of curiosity.

You are exactly right, when I was looking at the game, I also realized that it is too late to be the uber hunter, miner, etc, but taming there is still a chance to be the best and reap the rewards down the road.

I am level 70 for handler and close to that in tamer, and also raising whipper to be able to use the future uber whips. It will also be necessary to have hgh HP to withstand hits from tamed uber mobs, as well as good evade to avoid them, and also usage of good faps to not die. In short, the profession really requires reasonable degree of excellence in wide area of EU plus strong specific skills.

I completely agree with you that it is a multi year plan, but when this hits, those of us who work hard to build our character now are sure to reap the benefits.

Hehe, I’ve got a box of pets I’ll return to the wild. Kinda like releasing doves. Second thoughts, it’ll be more like releasing pheasants :D:sniper:

Good luck with the inititive, very sound business ideas at work. Sometimes you need to give to receive. Planting a long term interest in the pet market, while also building a network of loyal customers is important in any area of business.
