Building my HitPoints

Hi All,

My hitpoints have remained the same for ages now 91, how can I increase them? I mainly use a rife for hunting and sometimes finish the Mob of with my Blade.

Any advice.

Thx.

Good question brother Tyr!

I’ve gained a hitpoint yesterday and also want to know wich specific skills make you get more hitpoints. Using Rifle and Axe btw.

I started using Manticore Powerfist ME Edition after getting a few tips from people.. Seems Melee and PF is the way to raise HP a lil faster.

Just keep skilling. There are many skills that together will make your HP grow. Use the blade some more and don’t forget to use that fap-5 to get some healing skills ;).

Thats the word:SKILL like hell...ive got 2 or 3 hp from mining alone (and im not even close to uberness) so...whatever you do...do it for fun, for a long time and hps will come. :wise:

Not necessarily Power Fist. I gained about 600 levels in Power Fist while skilling last month and din’t get a single HP increase. Do whatever you like best, and do it for a long time.

Well i used the ME edition on armaxes and troxes and ive gained quite alot of HP doing it…

I think I’m upto 94 or 95 now.
1200 Rifles.
900 Longblades.
300 Handgun.

I think it’s just (s)kill, (s)kill, (s)kill.

searching the forum is the best skill for hp building !

As the others say, skill skill skill, if you skill melee very much you gain more hp, at least thats what i think. Dont know if thats true

From my experience and from what ive heard your medical and defence skills are closely related to your HPs :-)…but i get the feeling that HPs rise based on the total amount of skills.

Also u can unlock coolness – get 1 HP per 100 lvls

Shooting chirpies is good for you health :stuck_out_tongue:

Sorry for OT… but i thought it was so funny that i should gain health just then…

Anyway meele + defensive skills, and (one of the) most important: Athletics build your health the fastest…

It’s more like 1 HP per 500 lvls

In what im sure, one sould not use longblades to get more HP. for a serious hunter swords are useless!!!. also from all close combat related skills only melee combat gives HP (and strenght but agility gives it too).
melee combat is a side skill and rises alot slower than primary
also with melee its harder to get to certain prof. standing in order to unlock skills like serendipity coolness, combat sense etc which are good HP booster.
use rifle AND handgun.

Kinda funny thing about how thats set up indeed. Fast to get it up and skill evade but harder later. Me i knew all this and stuck to Longblade I"m happy with dmg i can get from a determination that leaves a LOT for me to hunt.

My plan is skill up my melee Shortblades, Longblades and Powerfist like crazy and unlock serendepity then switch back to hard Core Rifle Skilling. I like having a balance. And i figure all the evade i will have by then will help a lot when i start to skill the handgun and rifle as i wont get hit as much.

on my old avator i got like 2.2k longblades, 300 short and 500 rifle… i must say the longblade skilling alone gave me like 8 HP easy… i gained about 10 in all doing those things.

LONGBLADE/SHORTBLADE/POWERFIST skill itself doesnt give any health itself btw. it was checked and doublechecked by different persons using a fap after ‘you gained experience in your xxx skill’ while being at full health. When a skill doesnt give any HP you will get a message that your avatar is already at full health but otherwise you will heal some points. That way people determinded which skill WILL give you ANY health. But main melee skills dont. Only ranged combat main skills give health. All other health gains in hunting are from side skills.

not the weapons skill like powerfist/longblades etc give you much
hp(some but not much) but the melee combat skill.
also courage athletics give nice hp
and later the unlocked skills like coolness/combat sense/commando
the commando gives like 200 skills/1 hp
so if you have 10k commando then that alone is 50hp
but that skill is just for uber hunters

Not true LB itself give u HP. Tested this myself. I removed a full lB chip and lost Hp. SO they do give you HP.That is if there`s no relation between skills that is.Like a sum of certain skills that is.
