After reading this interview I could swear we all have the spirit of Marco in us in our hopes for this game.
MindArk should try to get Marco back in some capacity to assist the direction of the company.
CEO, Creative consultant, whatever made up position you need to make.
GET MARCO BACK.
Ever since he left PE/EU has been on a downward spiral.
Companies require VISION and LEADERSHIP to progress. Marco had them both in SPADES.
But…but we have an A.I President. What more do you want?
Flesh and Blood would be nice. Oh and leadership/vision for the future outside of minor UI updates and extremely major game engine updates.
Also I want his pistol in TT !
It’s not like he’s a “thing” they can just re-implement. Guy has a life and presumably has no intentions of doing a job he moved on from 20 years ago.
What would be more productive would be just to say - here is what players appreciate, please can we have a return to this sort of engagement.
I never called him a ‘thing’. Of course this would be absolutely up to him.
It is more about MA making an effort to reacquire his services.

Socrates is by far a thousand times better than Marco. Why? Well it’s simple. Marco was good with what’s called the gift of the gab i.e. saying things which the crowd will like. So you all liked him due to that.
Socrates, is the real deal. He’s brave with an intelligence that backs up his opinions which may not be popular, so he may not be popular like Marco but if you think about it we are in better hands.
Socrates needs more power. He can only do so much with the power he currently have.

Just to be clear I am not discrediting or disparaging Socrates. Think he is a contribution to the game and has listened and done great things.
Marco is just back from OG Project Entropia days and that is what I want to come back. The PE ‘feels’ if you will.
So your saying we are better off atm ? while i too value Socrates, i feel that MA after Marco (AM ?) lost a lot of sould, vision and the god awfull board plant we have as ceo now is most definetly not doing too well…

Thing with this game is that eventualy it kills the motivated and most passionated people overtime and people just move on.
Alot people show passion and investment to the game only to be ended up as recycleable trash.
Until that changes, there is no hope for the game.
