Blueprints deleted VU 19.3.0

Since there does not seem to be an official statement as to what Blueprints were deleted, i just compared my Calc list with the Blueprint Books after VU 19.3.0 update. These Blueprints are missing from the books (i can only confirm the actual BPs missing for the ones that have a number at the end of the line which represents the QR of the BP i had). If you find any mistakes or have additions, feel free to post them here. Note that this list only includes Calypso/Monria/ARIS Blueprints

Hmmm…

All I can say is I hope the compensation is fair. Some of us have spent quite a bit of time and PED gathering prints. For me, in the list above, it was GeoTrek guns which I collected, before I realized those BPs were in fact deprecated..

Also, why would Ghost (L) prints be removed? It is needed to upgrade Angel armor. And wasn’t Reaper just re-introduced? Why re-introduce it (or fix broken drop rate), only to remove it completely weeks later? I don’t get it…

These blueprints have been removed from the book lists, but not deleted. I can only find 12 that have actually been removed.

I checked my inv on the website and everything is still there but when checking my books there’s no BPs there (and pages missing eg. lvl.7 pages have gone from armour 2 where the ghost BPs were)

Also, the ped flow center is stuck on ‘loading’ so I can’t see any compensation

No compensation has been given out yet, at least to me which sucks cause I really want that compensation tab to add to my Ped Flow Center Accounts collection:

It is also worth noting that even if we only consider fair compensation for an item as that owner’s valuation of the item, and not fair compensation for the act of having the item abducted non-consentually and all associated indirect damages (which I would personally value at something like 5-10X the value of the lost item itself but have no hope of receiving), the PED actually spent gathering the item as measured on average by Market Value may be a severe underestimate. One way to see this is that the winner of an auction does not pay their valuation for the item, but rather the 2nd highest bidder’s valuation, possibly + 1 PED. If there are 2 bidders which have valuations TT + 10 PED and TT + 1000 PED, then the Market Value will record TT + 10 PED or TT + 11 PED, while the valuation of the owner is TT + 1000 PED.

The easier solve here would have just been to update the blueprints with an ‘x’ symbol or something to say they have components that no longer drop.

Removing them from the game without consent is just going to piss off the uber crafters and collectors.

Maybe too late now to revert this change at the last minute but expect whatever the compensation is to not be anywhere near enough and to further worsen sentiment amongst the dedicated player base just as you were starting to win it back.

I do think it’s the right idea just not sure taking people’s stuff that they worked on/for is the right solution to say this bp doesn’t drop nor does some of its components. Just highlight it with a symbol would have done the trick.

I did not notice that but you’re right. My Vivo Oxy 1500 (L) BP is still listed in Inventory on the website but nowhere to be found in my Storage or BP Book. Website says:

STORAGE (Calypso)
Tools (Vol. 2)

so it’s invisible because the BP slot does not show anymore. Weird why they chose to do it this way

Unfortunately there is an issue with blueprint books where the slots of deprecated blueprints were supposed to be hidden, but some other blueprints have become hidden as well.

So if you see them on the website but not in the blueprint book they are still there but just not visible.

We are working on having a fix for this as quickly as possible.

They’re boost BPs so I hope they’re not thinking 1pec a click is compensation

These blueprints haven’t been formally confiscated yet - they’re still listed on the site. I checked. I have Kriegerum G.1 Gauss Rifle (L) Blueprint (L) in my list.
But I can’t click them anymore. They’re blocked in the crafting machine filter.

Yeah, I said in a previous post about them being on the website. I only checked the craft machine filter, didn’t trawl through inv to see if the actual BPs were still there.

Swap you for the affiliate income one? Although I don’t think I could currently bring myself to do any actual affiliating as things currently stand. Has it brought you much?
My compensation tab brought me some pecs years ago. At the moment it just sits there, like ComPet, and doesn’t respond as there’s nothing in it.

The higher level Vivo Blueprints in Tools (Vol. 2) are now visible again with VU 19.3.1.
A cursory look through the other BP books revealed nothing else ‘returned’, so the above list still stands afaik

Definitely dont think removing was the right choice here, just add a symbol to say its an old blueprint with materials that dont drop anymore. Not remove stuff that people worked for and have a financial and emotional attachment to.

If MA have taken a path away from the many advanced bps that people have mostly not skilled up to, then give compensation in the form of tokens for a vendor that has bps for the current or new pathway. It might still annoy people that original ideas have been abandoned, but it’s probably acceptable to most that they are getting a bit of an advantage on the new direction instead!

Sounds like most of it is bugged and will get fixed, but I will say to affect investments like this without a heads up or compensation clearly stated is a bit concerning.
How are these new players we need so bad to see this?

Site is horrible to search now(broken), and the csv copy cuts off at 8800 items or so.

Oddly,

The csv actual line is 6982,
while the MA inventory line shows 8849 at ‘U’
and the ped line shows Total items value: 109,457.42 PED for 7,522 items
So there seem to be big discrepancies in the item count for whatever reason.

Would love a backup old school option so I can copy paste the whole list again.
