Does this amateur image sizing/quality on the client loader really bother anyone else?
Like the right hand panel looks really professional, like we are about to enter a high quality sci-fi game - the left hand side, images look stupid asf (a hand drawn red circle on a low res screenshot), images which haven’t been resized for the client loader with text spilling outside the frame, the fishing expansion one with the white background stood out as really bad execution for what was arguably the biggest expansion in a while.
Theres such big improvements in so many areas but this area seems to have gone backwards.
Its the one area of the game that literally EVERYBODY sees, including new players who might be unconvinced that this is where they want to come and spend their time and money. I know this janky stuff puts me off so is likely doing the same to people on the fence. Feels like an easy fix aswell.
Looks like MA is adopting the “Nigerian Prince” business model. If you even put a little effort into making things nice, it will attract customers, and MA hates customers bc they want things like entertainment and lack of bugs in return for their money.
If things are so shitty as to only attract suckers, it’s a much better time for MA.

@Nanashana is this something that is in the pipeline to fix at MA? Surely they aren’t unaware of this as it impacts literally every player so I have to assume they are aware but its low priority maybe?
This is not something that directly influences our income, but it’s somewhere on the to-do list! That means that this will be fixed between now and 2027, or later (soon™)
Another day another amateur looking client loader.
Is this a difficult fix - I cant image it takes but a few minutes to resize an image for that frame?
Incase its not completely apparent every player has to go through the client loader, people form negative opinions easily when trust hasn’t yet been built or is currently being tested (loot rtp downswings) seeing something like this might be the reason you lose people. Not only that but where is the care for your art - like some of these pictures look good but by clipping them you just turn them into garbage.
