Armor deacay

Hi
I was just thinking abit and i came in to the subiect armor deacay
An armor deacays different much depending on how much dmg it observs…right?
An armor observes lesser dmg when its “hurt”, then it should deacay lesser when its damaged..

Am i right or am i wrong?

Not sure I follow.

Ok so we have an armor, lets say it’s Rascal just for fun.
And two mobs: MobA and MobB  - They both do only Impact damage.

MobA makes 6 damage unarmored and MobB makes 11 damage unarmored.

Rascal has 15 Impact protection
Armor=Full TT…
MobA vs Rascal = You take 1 damage as Rascal protects from 5 out of the 6.
MobB vs Rascal = You take 1 damage, Rascal takes 10 of the 11.

If the decay was 2pec on the hit from MobA then it will be 4pec on MobB… :wise:

At least that’s how it should work(how I understood it)

I think i see what you mean…
You believe that when you get less damage, the armor should decay less as well?
Well, the truth is nobody is actually 100% sure about it lol.
Recently some new armors were released and judging by the stats the decay should be very bad, but it seems that it’s not so bad…
Or am I wrong thinking this?

the solution to this is known and explained in detail. but im not allowed to link the results, because it is on another well known project-entropia forum.

Do you know how to copy + paste???

DD
:evilking:

I notice my Nem decays faster when its full TT, once it gets jacked, it seems to decay slower, think thats possible??

Maybe I am not sure..
Thats why I am asking

One more question about armor:
Is it good to have armor on full TT? I usually have TT little above min armor TT.

ofc Its better to have Full TT on a armour.
It will absorbe more dmg. You will notice that the dmg you take thru the armour is getting more and more.
like 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 etc etc
Always repair your armour to max then go out hunt or skilling

And how is with gun and amp max TT? Is ti also good to have it on max TT?
I usually repair only for few peds if its near min TT.

Thx

i know how to copy and paste. but since the asked information is the property of a competing forum, and EF clearly stated that this forum likes to build its own content, it would be impolite to bypass this rule. the information is spread over several posts of that forum. but as you know, linking there is not allowed.

back to topic:

as it is common knowledge, i may say that armors absorb full displayed protection only at full condition.
once the armor decays, the protection lowers in relation to decay status.
50% TT value means only 50% of the possible protection.

fully repair your complete set. you will be astonished, how well it protects you then.

GUNS AND THEIR ATTACHEMENTS are different though. condition has no influence on performance here.
i better say that armors are the exception of this rule. all other item’s conditions dont affect performance.

The full TT repair was something i just found out about very recently. It makes a HUGE difference. I was getting hit for like 6 everytime from daik young. Repaired and now they miss or only hit for one.

Like was mentioned earlier you will notice that 1.0 go up… it’s time for armor repair!

Suicide

Yes its true, I jump home from job to test armor and gun.

With full TT ghost armor I get -1 health from Atrax Mature but before repair was cca -10 points. I repair also ARR 8000 and E-Amp 15 to full TT but didnt notice any difference when shoting.

Yes, and no wonder.

A fully-repaired armor absorbs more damage, therefore decays faster…

I hate decay… wouldnt it be great if there was some sort of ‘pre-gold armour’ that never decayed?? :tongue2: uh..okay back to real life

didn’t someone make a chart with the decay or a post with the decay results?

yes, but on “The Other Forum”, and linking there is sadly not allowed.

EF wants to build its own database. so someone should go out to do some field tests to find out the information again.

i would love to link the information here, but i have been moderated not to do so. make your own picture. :frowning:

thats very odd… can’t they just link between each other as it helps the community?

KK, that makes sense, Fully repaired armor takes more Damage, which inturn you take less. Jacked armor takes less damage, which inturn you take more.

Never really paid attention to this, sorry for the noob-ism…
