I double-clicked a thread title to select it all, as I wanted to search for an item, then I accidentaly pasted into it another portion of text.
→ The thread title was modified, but it’s NOT my thread !!!
First I thought it was just visible for me, but using another browser (not logged in), it confirmed the change was stored.
I noticed this months ago, that I can do this too. I added nice fruit emoji in MA official patch note thread or something like that but removed it a bit later For science
I have flagged and messaged @Ludvig_MindArk about your worries here.
When i noticed my moderation rights, i did indeed message @Ludvig_MindArk before starting to edit anything. Mostly i’v fixed categories etc.
Dont know if what is edited get checked regulary by @Ludvig_MindArk , but flagged posts/thread will always req some sort of confirmation and sorting from actual moderator.
IF you truly seen edits done in bad faith or suspect one, please let @Ludvig_MindArk know about them.
Rules have been updated to disallow this. Unfortunately there doesn’t seem to be a way to allow people to help edit categories without also allowing title editing, but I’ll be looking further into the exact settings available.
