I was rather disgusted a few months ago when several avatars, who I will not mentioned, bought a large number of ML35’s and began to sell them at very inflated prices. At the time, people were buying and selling around +1.8k - +2k, but the prices were fairly steady. And then suddenly… +2.5k…+2.7k…etc.
Unfortunately, it seems the prices are hovering in those higher areas. My question is…is anyone actually paying these prices? At one point I was looking for one (again…why oh why did I ever sell the last 5 I had, lol), bu at almost 3k, it doesnt seem worth it.

Some People are actually buying at tt+2.5k and that is to me totaly clear…
People are getting armed for landgrab and the prices is allways inflated this time of the year :)..Its just to hang on and wait a few weeks until after the landgrab… The prices will be reduced at that point…Have patience my friend
Aggree Rave, it’s insane. I too heard about this very same avatar (well it’s not a secret, just look at auction who the seller is). I think it’s unfair, it’s not all that good weapon, but it’s decent enough for around 2K. This typy of trading/reselling should be worked against. Hamstering one type of limited item is to ruin the game for others. I hope MA does something that makes resellers and hamsters go with heavy loss, so they for once get to taste what it’s like for us!

I dont want to be rude, and i agree with you for 99%..But there is still one thing you have to think about!
The game is no loss!..You have fun, and that is what you pay for..Noone force you to buy the ML-35´s for tt+2.5k..You do know, as well as I do, that the prices are inflated by the Landgrab and that the prices will decrease when LG is kicked off
i paid 2.6 :eek: for mine last week,i agree its over priced,as my soc m8 got 1 for 1.8 last month
but i wanted it,so i paid the price and i dont have patience :rolleyes:

Well it all started several months ago, waaay before we knew about an upcoming LG. But I can understand various people asking more, but when you buy 20 of one weapon, and change the price…thats bs :banghead:
ML 35 is a very decent rifle. Amped it got great power both for hunting and pk. IMO ml35 have been somewhat underpriced compared to other rifles. Nope Im not selling one :silly2:

The ones that has played PE more then one month knows that PE´s economy is flexible…And read my second post in this thread sacklitch!..Everyone that just HAVE to get exactly THAT kind of gun will have to pay, ofcourse…they cant robb the actioneer!..

Well I have my mdx4/dante for -hunting- but a blp rifle is also needed… unfortunately Ill be stuck till after LG I guess. However, some of the people who have bid on the MLs are lower end players, and as far as I know, wont be a problem in an LG. It seems these newer players have been sucked into buying a weapon at LG prices. And with that, some people will see this trend as a normal market price, which could potentially hurt prices even after LG.
Nah, dont blame the landgrab, its only some people making foul play. For example not so long ago i looted quite alot of boar harnesses and gloves and sold like 8 pieces of them on the auction without buyout with tt+2 starting bid thinking that they will get a fair price and such. Now look at armor offers on the auction! Unfortunately i didnt have time and energy to prevent well-known auction campers from having those items and now they are there but with a buyout price some 100 ped higher than they were originally bought from me for. Nice service heh ?!
So… dear fu**** reseller liches, please stop that. From now on i’ll be taking care about items i sell and will do my best to not letting them to fall in your dirty paws
For those who care i recommend to get another avatar and prevent people whom you dont like from buying your stuff off the auction.

You are talking about one avatar?..
If you are - to be able to hike the prices you will be forced to buy atleas all incomming Ml-35 the comming weeks and that will be like 5300$ or something (speaking about 20 ML-35’s).
And if someone invest that amount of money just to destroy for others then -sure, he is an idiot - but he has payed for the fun, just as every other depositer!
If you are takling about serveral avatars?..
It will be hard to hike prices fast when a lot of avatars are involved.. One seller will have to raise the price with a few peds / ML and then anotherone has to do the same until they “lose it” and get to greedy. Then they sell things for like .5k-1k over the avarage, and thats nothing odd, its just the economy that is developing. Maybe the ML-35 is underestimated? Maybe it is because people knows that others will buy at that prices due to LG?
(LG is every 6’th months, so its pretty easy to calculate when an LG is comming)

yeah i played pe for 4 years so i kinda know that pe´s market is flexible but u cant call it flexible auctully since the prices just keep rasing. I cant understand how u can back up the resellers. You cant blame the LG, the resellers would be doing this even if it wasent lg just as Pham said, And you cant blame the ppl that buying because they have no other choise. im well aware that i have to pay for my weapons but without the resellers i would get my weapons at half price!

Im not Blaming the Landgrab, im just saying that people take advantages due to this huge event!
And ofcourse - there are cases when newcomers are involved in it too…
When there is - its both the seller and the buyers fault since its very easy to calculats/find out how much the avarage price is …

I know alot of resellers that have 2 and even 3 avatar simply because one avatar only have 15 slots at the auction at the same time. Also sometimes to put bids on their own items just to manipulate the auction history at pe-trade.net and peauction.com to use it as “reference” later.
