It was recently brought to our attention that some changes made in version update 19.5.0 were inadvertently omitted from the release notes.
Boosted blueprints for space mining tools were converted to regular non-boosted blueprints as part of a corrective measure (as those blueprints were not supposed to be available as boosted during this time). Any holders of blueprints that were converted as part of this process will receive compensation for the lost value in the affected blueprints.
We also made some changes to the following blueprints:
[ul]
[li]Umbranoid Cutter (L) Blueprint (L)[/li][li]Tualun Warblade (L) Blueprint (L)[/li][li]Keshaan Dueling Sabre (L) Blueprint (L)[/li][/ul]
These blueprints were changed to use 1x Umbranoid components and 10x Mutant Coinage instead of 10x Umbranoid components and 1x Mutant Coinage, making them somewhat easier to craft in the future.
We apologize for the lack of communication regarding these changes and for any inconvenience this may have caused. We are currently reviewing our procedures for writing release notes to prevent this from happening again in the future.
Good to hear the boosts will be compensated. I get why they were a problem with people getting them from dailies since they didn’t have to pay for the boost value, but it would have definitely been unfair for crafters who generated them and actually had the value of the boosts taken from their returns.
I still think having sought after bps have very large boosts was a good way to add some purpose to doing more expensive clicks since more expensive= higher chance to meet the tt threshold to generate. It’s unfortunate that so many mistakes happened by taking boosted blueprints out of the system they are programmed to work with, i.e. crafting.
