hello all,

1000 CFD donation from me to the forum user posting a screenshot with a query on the ingame player register producing the most hits.
*search string has to be at least 7 characters.
*results must not be more than 90
*upload screenshot into forum gallery and link it here
*screenshot must show the search string and the last page of the results (e.g. page 9/9)
*multiple entries per forum user (but only 1 post per day per user!)
*if more than one user have the same winning search string, the one wins who posted first
*deadline for entries: december 31st 2011 23:59 GMT

Isn’t there a max number of hits per search? Like… 100 hits/search max?

EDIT: I tried this by searching for a few common names, several of them produced exactly 100 hits, can’t really be a coincidence can it? :dunno:

yep, max is 100 results i think

how about lowest results using a string of 3 characters max?

Either that or you could make the minimum amount of characters be 5-6 or something, should prevent one from reaching the max :silly2:

Well, that’s way to easy.

Lowest result is 0, and you get it for a lot of nonsensical 3-character-strings like »hzk.« :dunno:

ok new minimum is 7 characters, since i guess “shadow” produces 100+ hits. there is one 8 characters word that might hit 100+ as well, cannot check atm since not EU-able. we’ll see…gimme 7 - pending rule :girl:

Yep, »shadow« hits it 100+. :yup:

Alphabetically sorted the first 100 hits for »shadow« just reach »Billy«… that’s a looooong way down to Z from there. :laugh:

but making a 10+ characters rule would be kinda weird imo.

EDIT: Oh noes… My 10-character candidate has 10/10 pages but only 5 entries on the last page… :frowning:

The best I can get using no “space” as a character and having 10 characters is 15 hits… :scratch2: hmm

as long visible results are limited this sucks. petition anyone? :silly2: 500 cfd to graden regardless.
