Thanks for taking time to type this. I think same for all of this. For same reason Im reporting all bugs.
I just wonder… There still actually is no testing at all, and they put some AI generated, all new full of bugs UI now after reworking it few months back already… Like… Why
If there was testing, these obvious bugs like missing condition bars, random icons, stucking in chat, etc etc bugs would have been noticed
I agree with OP on my initially impression; initially since last week, many aspects of the game were broken making it not even playable such as super slow map loading time, broken auction house MU column , this is just to name a few. These have been fixed quickly. So kudos to MA. I think they are working hard to improve the game and fix bugs. Just give them some time.
I think many people weren’t prepared for the massive influx of changes. People are probably used to 1 fix every 10 years. Now it’s like 100 Changes with fixes every 10 days. Probably a lot to do with AI, but if the QOL and playability is bad upfront and ultimately better in the end, I suppose it’s a good tradeoff.
That’s no excuse seeing as this is RL money economy based. I have the highest top end gaming computer and as it currently is it takes minutes even to see what is my inventory and I know the issue is not my end. The UI is terrible and should not have been released with so many issues.
They realese something new and are super hyped about it.
Then… There’s a window of 3-4 updates where they will fix/patch things. After that, projects are barely touched again. A couple things come to mind where we saw this, there’s many more:
UI update v1
UI update v2
Space
Pets
Plots
Setesh
New player experience / onboarding
Fishing
Old professions and systems that were supposed to get attention
RDI and the likes
CP deeds
NTI deeds
So yeah, make use of this window before it’s too late!
