Zychion Citizens Beacon Mission; Success & Failure

We (Zychion Citizens) were given the opportunity to go on a Robot Beacon Mission last night; Uber-Thanks to our soc-mate “Warg” for taking us on that mission, was a great gesture of good-will and sportsmanship on his behalf.

The beacon was TT=25 or TT=28 can’t remember, so we weren’t expecting great difficulty. We had four spikers and two designated healers, and throughout the entirety of the mission, we only lost one spiker. Through good team work with sticking together, and with great effort from the designated healers, we were able to clear all five levels.

Great Success ?? It was from the perspective of clearing all the levels !! The bots that were in obscure locations (ie, on top of floating platforms, hidden behind objects, etc) were eliminated through team work and patience. We even encounter a Trooper which took some time to kill, but was eventually eliminated (thanks to the healers).

Great Failure ?? From the perspective of opening the Bot Storage Containers it was !! :frowning: This effort could have been much better coordinated. When we received the “Self Destruct Sequence Initiated” message, we became frantic. All sense of team work and structure was gone, and we just started opening boxes at random. I believe that alot of us even opened the same box twice, simply because we were not working together very well at that time.

Lessons Learned ?? You bet’cha !! If we ever have the opportunity to go on another Beacon Mission we will probobly maintain a similar team structure, with greater numbers in the team for higher TT=## difficulty, and greater organizational structure for the Storage Container loot proccess. If we had know in advance that the time limit for the containers was so limited, we would have devided into smaller groups (at least five) with one group opening containers in level five, another in level four, etc.

I only hope that the lessons we learned on our adventure will help others that plan to go on a beacon hunt. Good luck, and may Lootius bless you and yours.

That was one of the best Soc hunts iv been on since joining ZC :D.
Got a little hairy at times but we made it all the way to the end boss with only 1 loss :(.
We could have handled things a little better at the end of the mission with box’s but we had fun, and having fun is more important than good loots (both togever is great but one or the other will also do) :girl:
