Well, one can argue the monria mining case. It’s the same scenario. Mindark gave that individual a swift ban. But how would one know? Mindark said it was our responsibility to determine what is normal and what isn’t. It’s stupid.

It’s a dumb system all around because they can’t be bothered to code something so damn simple.

But rather fix these important things or even update this stale forum to stop the viagra chinese ads, they are busy doing version updates of colored underwear.

It’s important to keep in mind that there’s (hopefully) a lot of information integrated into such adjudication conclusions that we don’t see. For all we know, the subject of the other case may have been sending people PMs bragging about how they were milking the exploit, and when MindArk asked them about it, answered with verifiable lies or contradictions, such that the individual’s intent to break the rule was actually established beyond reasonable doubt. That doesn’t take away from your point that policy should be much less of a focus and implementing the right code much more. It’s also possible that MindArk was not adequately diligent in investigating and did the “they 100% knew it was an exploit I can feel it in my bones” PCF poster larp, but either way, all we as outsiders would see in a case like this are the initial global messages and (if the player publicizes/complains about it) the suspension.

Usually (absent some special case-specific evidence), I think it’s fair to assume any loot obtained performing an ordinary gameplay action is intended. Dev posts to the contrary would be one example of overriding evidence. Another example might be a blueprint producing an item other than the item in its name.

This is what happens when people know they wont be punished for abusing glitches. Oh but its not there fault its mindarks.. how did they know.

Remove all looted finders, reverse trades and ban hammer 6 months those that think itl be just another slap on wrist at worst if mindark even do anything.

I think its hard say that this is a bug or exploit, you have a box and open it. Obviously MA don’t mind, maybe it’s a way to lock more peds in the game :slight_smile: lots of keys plus boxes opened. Great for the economy.

I opened 10 boxes just for the fun, got a P160. No, imo its not abusing, you’re just opening fucking boxes. Get over it. As I’m not a miner I could not care less, but I was hoping for Chronos Foots (F)… No such luck. ???

Don’t know what you’re talking about, I got my P160 from a legacy box… Maybe legacy are bugged too? Try it.

Yes I know its from mining boxes. But, I opened 10 legacy and I got a P160, which potentially means legacy boxes are the same.

Fun part is a lot of these boxes are farmed by botters on Arkadia, guess the circle is now complete.
