When i click on launch PE it loads and then it takes me back to my desktop… and i was playing the game like 5 mins ago and i restarted and shut down my comp and everything… what wrong?

just click second pe tab that would appear in the sidebar (windows)
it still doesn’t work… no matter what i do when it gets to the message intro it crashes…
ok well i will try to help since nobody has yet :laugh:
Go to your PE directory
Delete the .cfg file for your account. The filename will be your account name. For ex.: accountname.cfg
Start PE and should have fixed the problem

circled in red - when i login it drops me to desktop, but the second tab (just like the one circled) appears in the sidebar - I click it and that is it, i am in.
ohhh my start menu is on the bottom of my screen 
but i think he means that when he tries to log in it crashes (PE closes for no reason), and what i posted will fix that problem
and the the classic:
reinstall display drivers. not by just installing them but first removing prior installation from add/remove programs.
i had the same (with nvidia 6600GT) and that just helped - even as those symptoms seemed to have nothing to do with display drivers.
Also try setting the colour depth to 16bit colour in the client loader options and playing with the connection speed settings in the options as well.
