This is the 2nd item that will get sold for EFDs, first was a painting.Although EFDs have no real money value irl , it’s getting sold for peds, which are $ irl, but EFDs do have a value consisting in the time the poster has put into his posts, contribution to EF. It might encourege spamers in the future , but it’s becoming very interesting , nonetheless :wise:
Heck MB , instead of waiting for donations , just start selling EFDs :laugh:

Very interesting indeed. I think the EFD thing as it stands gives a great reason to contribute to the forum. Hopefully the Reputation system along with MB 
threads will keep spam under control. Also, the amount of time and effort it takes to get large amount of EFD is not condusive to spam.

Hmmm- very interesting. I have viewed this type of selling as very positive to EF… but now you have me thinking…
What if some1 were to come on here (and perhaps they are completely new and never posted here b4) and sell a large item for MANY efd’s… then change the name of some1 else here for pure vengeance or something or other?

Donators have actually gotten some EFD to play with for their donation,
at a $1/100 EFD rate :wise:
As for spammers, they are having the EFD “earned” for those posts deducted if they spam, i have done that several times already.

The funny part is that items sell for alot more in EFD then in PED, for instance the plasma gun would hardly sell for 150 ped (1500 EFD) ingame and sells here on the forum for 3000(+)EFD (300ped) :laugh:

Well Mindbuster said that those who have made donations have gotten EFD to play with, about 100 EFD for 1$ or something 
So meaning that 1$=100 EFD

Since they both have a conversion rate to the USD I would say one could calculate an EFD to PED conversion.

The only ones setting a conversion rate is the ones who sell items for EFD and those who buys them.
But funny enough, the first item sold for EFD actually went for around $1/100 EFD taking the going prices in the ingame auction into consideration. :silly2:
A rifle just went for much more though.
