Light? I donāt think there is such a thing.
Whisky is an aquired taste like most alcohols.
But I recommend Jack Danielās of course ![]()
Some you will find sweat, or bitter. JD has a nice burn to it which I like, itās almost spicy do to the charcoal mellowing.
Well, being a Scot, I have to say one of my favourites is a āhalf and halfā
Thats Whisky and Beer! -
Whisky wise I prefer the Highland Malts to the Islands (too peaty).
However to be honest I donāt drink much whisky during the year as I save it all up for Hogmonay!! :silly:
Incidentally - I visited the Jack Daniels Distillary in Tennessee last year - itās a great place to visit, I highly recommend it (Though you wonāt be getting drunk there!
)

Jameson is quite mild I think.
You never drink alcohol? I would have suggested that for first time: drink something else and whiskey after that - it tastes a lot better then ![]()
Bushmills. Irish whiskey.
BTW, Jamesons is Irish, too.
Actually, I would recommend a higher-value, smoother whiskey for someone trying their first. Check out Bushimills 16-year single malt. Itās a lot smoother than the cheap stuff. (a lot more expensive, too - be warned)
