well, its like this: shadow and angel ar overal animal/bot armors. as in: they have a nice rnage of type what you can attack wearing it.
eon is especially designed for pvp, and decays alot more then shadow.
sentinal> also pvp, tho hard to get full set
chronicle> animal armor, f.ex. spiders
vain: also nice overall armor i think, but a bit high on the decay side.
supremacy: just looks cool. and decays alot
If santa was nice and i only got 1 choice. It would be shadow.
I still wouldnt get rid of my pixie, neme, rascal and vigi though as shadow is only good for some mobs..
while shadow is the dream choice…angel is the one i can aim for in the future.
For add protection i can add some plates plus i like the pure white look of it
Angel, as imo its got the lowest decay and very good stats for mob hunting (cleaning it is a killer tho, getting all that mud and blood of my nice white armour :laugh: ), in fact I just got my first bit a week of so ago, only shins but its a start .
If money was no object (as if ) then it would be Eon because for me it just seems to have the best stats.
It was a dream of mine to get Angel and I love it, but I wanted to have it because I needed it to hunt the big mobs I want to hunt, with a decent decay. Well, I also wanted it to match Blondie when we hunt together :laugh:
However, the ultimate armor to have, is no armor! :wise:
I want to have high enough HP, Evade, and Dodge that I wouldn’t need any armor to hunt anything.
No armor hunting is the ultimate decay fighter.
I know that must be true because MA is doing everything they can to nerf skilling that will allow you to get uber in those areas. As was said earlier, those players that were here early and took advantage of the ability to skill up those areas, are reaping the rewards in terms of decay costs not paid because they don’t need the protection.
I assume MA will do everything they can to nerf the defensive skills and the ability to gain hp, so that they will get paid one way or another.

YooHoo !!! I love the Sentinel too, but i’ve only seen few parts, no full set for the moment, this armor is really rare, anyone know if this armor is still lootable ?

Oh well..
I still love my Angel and I’m always happy when I go to the repair term after a hard hunt and see the small repair bill at a fraction of the cost of Shadows purchase price.
