The COS calculations seem to be messed up at the moment.
All skills are ignored, but QR is still taken account of.
So until this is fixed, stick to high QR BPs to maintain excellent chance.

I am at work at the moment so I cannot really check.
This was clearly the case for me and several others last night, in seemingly all locations both on Amethera and Eudoria…

I noticed this also, and many other crafters too…
I’m not sure if this skill bug is in other areas also, or just in crafting. I think it’s MA’s way to make us all noobs again and start over 
but yep, agreed with gleuth, don’t craft til this baby is fixed. and send support cases to MA! always helps with bug fix times, if it is a wide-scale problem

Well, according to the ClientLoader the skill calculations are now restored.
And yes, skills do now have a little effect again, but crafting has been heavily nerfed. For any BP where QR alone don’t bring COS to excellent, the ChanceOfSuccess is about two full levels lower than before VU!
A tough blow indeed to a profession that already now has difficulties to compete

yup in tailoring my lvl8 bono shades BP was @ acceptable (i think) and went down to sporadic with the skills mismatch bug and is only meager now
MA has fixed this bug.
Update: Manufacturing skills and blueprint Quality Rating. An unbalance in the relationship between blueprint QR and Skill levels while manufacturing has been corrected.

But what I am referring to is COS after that ‘correction’!
After that patch skills are simply worth a lot less then before VU7.1
(Then there was a short while between VU7.1 and the patch, where skills counted for virtually nothing)
I (and a few others) have filed support cases, but there is still no comment from MA as to whether this nerf was intentional or not.
