Walking/Running Tours

Alright this has gone long enough. I don’t know if there is a post about this already for the new folks, but listen up.

If you’re new, I understand that you’re scared and very orange. In my opinion, if you’re not depositing, (even if you are), sure, sweat away at the place you first arrived onto our beautiful world. Expolre a bit, expand your horizons, and make sure you get some TP’s.

There is nothing more annoying than making a hunting party, and realizing that one person is missing a TP where you want to hunt. Sure, I have no problem making a TP run for that one person, sometimes it’s even fun. Here are a few reasons why it’s a good idea to get your teleports early.

  1. Hunting parties will not have a problem with you for missing an important TP.
  2. You’ll see a bit of our world (and maybe find dung/fruit in the process)
  3. Yes, unfortuantely you’ll die a few times making these runs, but you’ll learn what animal does what damage, and how quickly it can outrun you.
  4. You’ll get an understanding of where some of these mobs roam around, so in the future you might avoid any complications.
  5. You’ll meet a lot more people by exploring, than just by running around your inital spawn point.

That said, I am offering my services for free to make a few TP runs for anyone who wants to get some exploring done. Hell, if you want, and you’re really green (read: orange), you can ask me to be your mentor.

As for qualifications … hmmm … I’m still fairly noobish, but I did manage to finally get all TP’s on both continents (45 in total).

Equipment wise, it would be a good idea if you actually had a hard-copy of a map somewhere, so you know I’m not leading you into a trap or something. You can find these on any legitimate PE sites like Entriopa-Pioneers. I’ve got myself a nice full wall one, and it’s saved my bacon more than once.

So, if you’re interested wbout taking a walking tour, PM me, or find me in-game. I’m on PE almost everyday (yes I have no life)

Bravo on the post. I totally agree. The first two days I played the game I just ran around the place like crazy getting outposts & TP’s and all that goodness. Once I figured out that I could swim (mostly) in safety, I just explored up and down every waterway and along the coasts. I certainly don’t have all the TP yet, but I’ve got a lot of them scattered from coast to coast and it helps a LOT for a huge variety of reasons - most of which you mentioned.

And I certainly did learn a lot about which mobs to run AT with my weapon in hand, and which ones to run FROM the minute you spot them!

i got my first 2 TPs last night had lost of fun…
i got bills port and one north of that. that i have no idea the name of as i was still freaking out about the squad of gen 02 robots we ran into on the way …

but i agree its the only way to go, you have to get out there and run around and die some and then some more

or you will never find the fish!!! (i love the fish)

any way exploring is fun

Love escorting though

I am still relatively new, but strong enough for most mobs. And I make it a habit to visit Zeus, Argus and other remote places often, because there’s almost always noobs there needing help. I’ve escorted people to Camp Caravan who were stuck in the outpost near Argus for three days! Very gratifying. Often I take other, even newer players than myself (who are adequately equipped) hunting/escorting there. It is nice for the noobs, you hunt, skill, get to know the continent, and have FUN as well.

I love it.

Just one Q where abouts do you generally hang out?? Ill come and find you

+rep  I would also like to help ppl with tp hunting. so feel free to pm me too if you feel like it

i just love running around on calyplso  :naughty:

I tend to be all over the place, I’m a miner, so I nerver hang out in the same place twice (uless I have to put some stuff in storage). The place I visit most often is Atlas Haven, you can prolly find me at the auction there, or the outside storage boxes. Just recently I’ve been known to hang around E of Limindindindin (or whatever) District hunting Umbranoids. I’m @ work now, so when I’ll be on-line I’ll PM you
