Besides, there is nothing wrong with the vixen pet. Nothing at all.
I heard that Ark officials have the power to move avatars they deem undesirable outside of the planet. Toulan might employ a vice squad with same powers

I thought it was degrading to women in the first place - the android vixen. Sure you could say itās wrong to hunt animals and so forth, but āfightingā alien looking creatures that attack you back is still different than the image of a human being. I always just viewed the vixens as - whatever itās just silly and part of RT style, but always really really hoped they would never make one tameable. BTW- there are black vixens - even if they are androids, no one should have a human figure as a pet. At least in the current mechanics of the pet system. Itās not like having C-3PO or R2-D2 aroundā¦ doesnāt even make sense.. I feed an android food?
There are cooler mobs on RT that would have been more interesting as a pet. How about a dragon!?

I strongly suspect this idea for a pet was also a deliberate attempt by someone in the RT team if not ND himself to create āpublicityā off the back of the controversy. As such since I found out I decided I would no longer be talking about RT or anything to do with it.
That said Iām posting this here. It will be my only post on the subject but I might as well explain why Iām reacting. I have quite a few friends who work for a charity that helps the rescued victims of human trafficking (modern day slavery) of which most are sex slaves. Iāve also has a guy treat me like I was his possession for a while. I donāt find the idea of a tameable stripper in the least bit amusing, and Iām very glad it doesnāt spawn on any of the other planets.

A) Anyone who wants to argue that āthey are just robotsā should have absolutely no complaint if the were suddenly re-skinned to look like the bots on Calypso. If you do have a problem with that, then you are calling bullshit on your own argument.
B). Planet partners create planets to a theme of their own design. ND has designed Rocktropia in the manner that he sees fit. Dave and the guys designed Arkadia to their theme. Every other planet partner has designed their world around a particular theme. Am I particularly excited to see a bunch of people dragging their stripper slaves around with them? Not particularly. But I accept the fact that when I go to RT, it is part of the theme.
What I donāt really understand is that, when Ancient Greece was introduced and excluded the use of virtually every tool and piece of clothing that was available in the rest of EU, pretty much no one had a problem with that. Now that the creators of Toulan have decided that they donāt want stripper slaves on their planet, people are branding them as Islamist extremists and trying to stir up as much animosity as possible.
Iām thinking that, just maybe, it isnāt the Toulan designers that are the problem.

All we can really do is put in support cases to have them removed. At the end I think this would be best for all. I know a lot of people really donāt see an issue with them but then again look at the state of our RL life around us. Bit by bit itās being degraded more and more and such more and more arenāt really understanding why.

Toulan Developers have a right to keep their Planet within a certain theme. They have a good taste and ban certain things like this silly mob from RT.
Just donāt go there if you donāt want .

for those taking it too seriously, why not scream murder when someone hunts Vixens?
Toulanās only complaint is about the amount of āvirtual skinā showing, not the fact that you have a virtual woman as a pet.
And if I dont feed my pet it isnāt animal abuse!

Thank you! I am happy to see the few commenters here who understand the fine line between āhumourā and RT (yea, it says robots in the descriptionblabla) and even more: that there are reasons why someone doesnāt want want sexual jokes in thier business.
Itās a free worls in some areas and so we should accept that many ppl like seucal jokes, but we should also accept, when someone doesnāt like it in their area. Some respect in both directions would help the world.

In making it normal to keep a woman as a pet. There are a lot of young minds in this game,who need no exra encouragement to treat women badly.
I had made this very point on another thread about this, and it is so very true.
100% agree with you. Regardless if they lable them āandroidsā it is at the very best extremely bad taste, and I completely back Toulan on their protest - they have went right up on my estimations.

I am very disappointed that the game has come to this. Regardless if they are just pixels, making it the norm to create āsexyā women which can be whipped into becoming your slave, is outrageous. And certainly not the game I signed up to.
