On the other end of the business you have Plantronics.. http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=26-106-009&depa=0
The Audio 90 has decent sound but they break EASY and OFTEN. Mine broke within a month.. so I got another pair with the warranty and those broke 2 months later.
I really don’t like Plantronics but they did sound ok before one ear started going out(same problem with both sets)… and I do not abuse my headsets! I don’t like watching things I pay $40 for break thank you very much.
(Read the reviews for some storys about how short of a life they often have)
I would say.. get some Sennheiser’s and spend as much as is in your budget.
You’ll be happy when you plug them in!

Thats awesome thanks! im gonna try the Sennheiser :silly2:
I use a Plantronics Binaural telecoms headset, the type used in call centres. It required some modification to make it work with a PC. It’s a mono headset with twin earphones cos it’s for a telephone.
So that needed fixing, it’s also noise canceling, so that needed to be removed too. Took me about 90 mins to convert it (including waiting for the glue to dry  ) But now that it’s done, it’s an excelent headset. Bear inmind these things are designed to be worn all day, everyday in a call centre, wheres your typical $10 ‘computer’ headset is simply designed to be cheap.
If you dont want to go down this path tho, then yeah Senn’s are good by reputation but I’ve not personally tested one.
