Well this is my last resort tbh, I was thinking about it too as a had a friend that done this and when he came back he looted a rare token in a box not long after. Hence, after I finish my redulite this “shithem”, I will stop playing until I get bored of not playing (as I am bored of playing atm anyways) and just see what happens when I come back, and if that doesn’t cure it. I will only enjoy EU for the social side and little gambles once in a while because that would prove to me this is just something not worth investing my hard earned money in to. Cheers! ?

I’d imagine it comes down to how you class the rares drop. For a lottery we are all buying tickets and the more you have the greater your chance at the draw time.
The big cycles have more tickets sure, but if the rares are on a wave then that’s just meaning your in for more draws, not having more tickets in each draw.
(I’ll admit that made more sense in my head ?)

I am sure a lot of things do. <3. But even the wave mechanics are funky and not totally understood, sure there are some things we kinda understand and can take advantage of, but it is still all guesswork.
I was just using the “lottery” bit as a euphemism for looting rare tokens, sorry if I induced error upon judgement. ???

Think I just made another EU friend among the many others that I was lucky enough to make (some even met face to face and partied or got drunk with, this is an aspect of EU that I have come to love in the past 2 years as shit just kept piling up, and I must say it has kept me mentally stable all this time). You want a token to feel the rage of? A rare is a rage of happines not a rage of anger cuz your a cunt. Try no rares and 100k tokens (in some cases, not me, only 20k so can’t expect anything) and feel that rage. Stfu and buy a armor piece or Extender P20.

What I mean is that I hunt mayhem and have mayhem tokens, he got a rare and doesn’t have mayhem tokens, so it’s going to be much more difficult for him to spend it than if I got it.
So I’m asking what he should try to buy that has the highest value and uses the least mayhem tokens, that’s all.
Have him spend another 200 ped and loot two more rares to get the augmented azuro. Should be a nice upgrade for you!

I think there should be some kind of bad luck protection of looting current “endgame-related” items (atleast for those items that are already basically timegated like this rare token anyway if trying to hunt one). Meaning that when cycle like a madman as few in this thread had (some insane numbers!), your drop chances at some point to get one rare starts to actually rise.
People who put that amount dedication/investment to the game deserves something back and getting rare is only one step to acquire desired item from vendor, you might need many more or you still have to save normal tokens and hope everything has not been pulled out. This is purely spitballing and would need many adjustments for sure! Just thoughts from fairly casual player.
