Unreal tokens

7 ped each.

Edit: This started as an act of rage but I would really like to get help to understand the current price. I want in on the bandwagon but need to be able to justify it to myself.

Yeah it is stupid and that is why I made this post to highlight one of the biggest issues trying to balance and Economy like the one in EU

Indeed.

Problem is people want MA to hire a balancing manager but unless he gets his heroine really cheap he won’t stand a chance following the fluctuations in the market.

I guess you are overpaying abit.

These Idiots (including myself) use to sell em at 13-14-15 in auction, while we could sell you for better price ! :sneaky:

I don’t think it’s price manipulation
I think people in game just overestimate the value of items.

Right now, you can see lots of land that’s gone unsold with no bids for over a year while sellers hold out for that "perfectā€ offer. which would only be from someone who doesn’t know how much fertilizer costs or what land areas actually earn.

like its weird their is no buyers and yet prices haven’t adjusted.

and Unreal tokens are especially risky there’s no set UE5 roadmap and a lot of uncertainty about future development

I might be wrong but I don’t know if that is a good thing.

I got a little pissy yesterday since I was going to buy some and realized I wouldn’t be able to justify it. The price is also a sign of a very unhealthy economy

I’m not sure why you think their price is the sign of an unhealthy economy. If anything the rising price of them (from opening around 10ped per to now 14p) indicates that buyers a) have faith unreal is actually coming b) believe they will end up being lucrative.

CLDs payout 1/6000000 of calys PP revenue weekly and they cost 29-30ped per.
Granted currently we (and I honestly believe MA also) don’t know how many unreal tokens/EU shares will hit the exchange, and what the payout will be but that’s part of the risk.
To be honest though, seems like there’s a lot more upside than down, even at 15ped per.

It is great that people have faith and it is great that they are willing to put money in and it is great in that way that it creates more markup in loot for hunters. There are a lot of positives with the high price but what bothers me is the why.

I can’t see any reasonable way to value them even at 10P each. I had been thinking for a while to gamble on them at around 7-8 PED (price when I came back last winter) which already barely could have been justified when taking revenue into consideration as well as the uncertainty with them. I want to know how people make the decision to pay 15 PED each because I can’t for the love of god understand, people must know stuff that I do not.

If anyone could make the effort that would be much appreciated so I can stop being annoyed by this (yes I know it is stupid to be annoyed by it but that’s just the way my brain works). Thanks

Now read what the description is on the unreal tokens
Will receive revenue sharing on ALL ACTIVITY IN ENTROPIA UNIVERSE

This was at the time of the release mathed out, I just woke up so too tired to search for the thread and find the exact number (will do during the day) but just going by the revenue at the time the value would have been around 5-6 ped if I recall correctly when compared to CLD.

It was at one point 20 ped each.
I have 121x left at 15 ped each, first come first serve.

Maybe the tag should be switched to ā€œPrice checkā€ instead… @Ludvig|MindArk

Pretty sure they announced how many total unreal shares there was initially planned to be.

They would also know the total platform revenue and could give a figure on what the payout would be right now if we were on unreal and the shares were paying out. But since they don’t do this my guess is that the market estimation of the value is far more generous that what MA knows.

People paying more than you tell yourself they are worth = market manipulation?

am i missing something?

I dropped that theory but the current price is crazy.

If you can explain to me why then I would be happy to reconsider since I can’t wrap my head around it at the moment.

… I assume people simply think a normal share automatically has to have a base value of 10 peds around here when first put up on the market, and that these are super-duper ā€˜all of MA’ revenue stream shares, so worth more (soon).
I also valued them at well below 10 peds a couple of years ago it seems already (if TWEN drops were that long ago) but forget the exact values and calculation now.

It is what people are willing to pay for them right now.

I would want my oils and hides to be 110%

Just because i want something, wont make it to reality.

If you want to buy them 8 PED each do so, you have every right to do so.

But dont be suprised if no one sell and you get odd looks.
