Hmm… I am wrong? Because I consider gokibusagi a fairly new mob? It arrived along with formidon and formicacida if I am not wrong… Rather “recently”. Along with the “new” armors Salamander, Thunderbird, Viking and Eon. Maybe you have to be an old player to understand what I mean.

Back in the days when atrox dropped imp ff and longu dropped imp mk2.. the allophyls gave adj fap and the umbranoid Male gave imp fap. female umbranoids gave adj i think, not sure on the adj from female umbs though .

Not a Kalashi fan here, but don’t have anything against Kalashi either.
There is a MAJOR difference between those things that you are thinking about, one is for srue an exploit, this is a small mob dropping a nice item for a limited time.

That is the way it should be. High level items should only drop from high level mobs.

you guys need to read my post on ep, in economy section, about logic in loot.
I get where you’re coming from but I kinda disagree, In the past a biffoid or whatever drops a mod fap, some lucky low/mid lvl ava gets it and either skills his/her way up to uberness or sells it for someone else to do the same. Now some guy whos already uber with mod fap, shadow etc kills warlock, gets another mod fap, sells it for stupid money to some other uber and continues thus widening the now already impossibly big gap that newer avas have of reaching anywhere near the kind of levels of skills and equipment that the old uber guys are at. Just my 2 English pence

So if you think there is a gap between old and new players, do you think it should be in such a way that a n00b should be able to waltz in and catch up with the vets have been playing for 3 years or more?
I mean, get real. If i have been playing 3 years more than you, there SHOULD be a gap in our skills and equipment. And honestly, a head start that big it should be close to impossible to close. Theres a reason why there is something called seniority when it comes to RL work and you can look at it the same way in PE.

True, no i’m not saying the gap should just be magically closed for all and sundry :silly2: as you say the gap should remain consistant with the time one has played, but despite how long they have been playing the fact remains that people (uber now but probably noob then right?) looted these things from noob mobs. I just think the game should be consistant with stuff like that is all
