Sometimes I like to go to Atlantis TP and just sit there and watch. Boring you say. Well maybe, but it can be pretty interesting sometimes. Like the other day when some assmonkey spammer was going hell for leather and making a right pain in the ass of themselves. I think in the end MA got rid of him.
Anyway i digress. In my observations of all the rantings and ravings going on and the confusion of who was selling what and who was buying what and who was just making a nuiscance of themselves, I had a brainwave. :eureka:

Maybe it is, maybe it isn’t. I will just put my thoughts in here to see if it is a good idea or a dumb one.

What if we could somehow designate different TP’s as different trading area’s.
Like say Atlantis as a sweat trading area, Hades C as a armour trading area, Troy as a weapons trading area, Atlas Haven as a Pet trading area i.e. fruits n sweet stuff, Nymph as an oil trading area, Twin Peaks as clothes trading area and so on and so forth.
I just mention those TP’s as they came to mind, so that is in no way a set thing.
The reason that I think that this would work better is,

  1. There wouldn’t be so much confusion.
  2. It would minimize spamming
  3. It would also discourage and cut down on scamming.
  4. Trading groups could be setup to help monitor things like pricing and fairness
  5. It would be a lot quicker, so then we could get out and do more of the things we love.

Anyway that’s just a few thoughts and I would be interested in any replies on whether or not this is any good or if it has been thought of before.

I think thats a great idea. Lay out some better guidlines and lets try to get people to follow them. I will, if it means less lag in certain cities.

Sorry to disagree, but I don’t think it’s such a great idea for the following reason;

I hate trading and find it boring, however, sometimes I have loot that I’d like to sell directly to other avi’s, and when I do I like to be able to type 1 or 2 messages and just shot out and let people come if they’re interested. But doning this i can get rid of different types of items all at the same time.

If it was your way, I’d have to go to say Twin to sell any armour, then PA to sell sweat, then Tethy’s to sell weapons, etc etc, and it would take me much longer to get rid of a handful of items. :mad:

And I’m sure I’m not alone in this. :wink:
