Looking through the TT there are not a lot of items to buy, does the inventory of items increase once you have gained skills and played longer?
I would like to buy some Pixie Armour and a Jester D-1 to start with.

Opalo, ammo, bombs&probes and FAP-5 are worth of buying from TT (and maybe some other mining stuff) but pixie and jester you have buy from street or auction.
the TT items are just a few basic items. For other guns and armors you will need to either loot them from a mob, buy them from another player, or buy them in auction.
Forget the jester, take the tt gun.

No, everyone sees the same items regardless of skill levels, although they have added new items for everyone lately, such as the opalo, but removed the old rifle that was there.
