Well, today’s my third day playing PE, and last night i hit an Enormous deposit of Blausarian Stone. I’ve been awake all night drilling, fearing i wouldn’t be able to get all the stuff out before the time ran out. Finally I depleted it a couple of hours ago. Seems like I could have slept a bit, after all
I dropped no more than 30 bombs before I detected the deposit, so now I have 830 in Mining and just 18 in Prospecting (seems weird to me, even though I’m not familiar with the game yet). Also, no mobs appeared at anytime while i was drilling, so I guess I was lucky in this aspect too…
As I’m an unequipped noob, I’ve found a lot of problems travelling from the rod to the city to buy equipment, (a new excavator, teleport chips, etc): i was way too slow because of the weight, and i couldn’t have made it without the help of Abee and Jekyl, who escorted me all the way from the deposit to Troy and back again. Greets go to my mentor too, Ayla, who couldn’t be online during the crisis, but helped a lot while she was!
Well, One thing is clear: I wasn’t prepared to this. As I’ve said, I’m not familiar with the game yet, so its hard for me to make decissions. Thats why I ask you all for some advise.

I don’t know what I should do with the minerals: what’s the best way to sell it? Auction? Street selling? I’ve seen that a reasonable price to sell big lots of Blausarian is 110%, but maybe I could try to sell small pieces for a greater price.
After selling all that stuff, I’ll have a lot of PEDs. How many PEDs should I reinvest in the character and how many withdraw? What should i be investing them in? Skilling? Equipment? Which equipment? Or should I withdraw all my PEDs and stop playing ;)?[/INDENT]
Persoanlly I woudl leave all the money in game, no sense withdrawing it, letting MA take a cut and then, should you ever need to, depositing it again.
There are a lot of good guides out there, but if your seriously stuk for an idea of what to do I will lift the burden by accepting all your PEDs :silly2:
No seriously leave it in have a play around find out what works for you and once you have a steady and constant income then consider withdrawing.
My advice to you would be to let the peds stay in the game until you either grow tired of the game or somehow decide to quit/leave. You never know when it can come in handy! Unless, offcourse, you need money irl, and then you should be aware that it will take some time to withdraw the peds aswell (usually does)
Try finding a crafter that buy large quantity minerals or simply auction it. You can also put up a sales thread here on the forum (not if you pur it in auction tho!, according to rules)
I would say, use some of the peds on:
-a nice allround armor (Id say rascal, nice stats and low decay)
-eqipment in whatever profession you want (for example better miningequipment. Im not a good miner so I cant give too much advice here )
-a allright fap (fap-50/80 aint too bad. )
-a okay gun to protect yourself with or hunt with (pistols: 2875 or ep-40, Carbines: mk2… cheap and good)
-A nice set of clothing, doesnt have to be expencive, just… dont basic pattern or noob-fits thats badly colored please x) Clothing is NOT a investment tho, and doesnt gain you in any way except in social ways. just for looks.
Rest of the peds you save, for bombs, ammo or whatever. Dont go spend it all on once
sell at 110, buy rascal, buy either a ‘justifier mk 2’ or if you want to go the BLP route, something like an AS-series (there are no small blp rifles to skill on.. so handgun is it. unless you want to get the ml-35. its skillgain is pretty good i hear)
get a fap 2600 and you can take any mob.. a fap50 will do if you want to take the economical route
save the rest for more bombs.. it seems like you have a long mining career ahead of you
Wow, very nice. Keep it in game if you plan on playing… I’ve played for over a year and have depositing 1/3 of that, so if your thrifty, you should be able to play for at least 2 years on that

man, buy a full pixie M - best protection/price/decay in game and an excellent armour for a beginner. about tt+9, let’s say.
buy a fap 5 from TT. buy a jester d-1 (tt+0.5 or so)
get a mentor. PREFERABLY ONE WHO DOESN’T KNOW about ur peds or one who u trust (if u have some IRL friend ingame).
Consider that u DON’T have those peds. Consider a starting capital of about 100 peds.
Buy what I said, buy some ammo (40 peds worth should be enough).
so, what u NEED to do:
get a mentor
get all tp’s in game - explore teritorry, socialize
try all domains (with little investment, 10 peds, see what u like more).
ONLY after a month or so of playing u can consider efficiently how to spend ur money. Pls listen this and don’t go happy spending:)

about your blausarium, you can sell from 105% to 110%. Stay in PA and shout ur sale, watch what other people sell, search those items on pe-trade.net or mytwopecs.com, u’ll get an idea about many things.
to better understand how lucky u are, go sweat. ask around, ppl will tell u how to do it. see how much time u need to raise 100 bottles. which means 2.5 peds. maybe then u’ll have an immage of how lucky u are:)
Big gratz on a nice find And id try something similar to what Kerham says in regards to trying hunting/mining/crafting just a little bit each with a low investment and see what you like Ask your mentor how to do it cheap
P.S. Kerham… Have you tried reading the post? It says he already HAS a mentor… + i seriously doubt he could get one now since hes lvl 830 in mining if he didnt already…

And i agree on what you said Starting small just after a noobHOF like that (sorry and no disrespect intended but thats what it is :p) is important imho since you have no ingame knowledge, and we all know how fast you can loose 1-2k peds if youre not careful…
Keep like 1000 peds and withdraw all above. Your noob outfit is extremely cheap (full pixie and rascal will have you going for a long time). As you will have to start off with smaller mobs, this money will keep you playing for a longer amount of time. Even if you conclude playing for a longer time and having to redeposit, you ll atleast have had the joy off actually withdrawing once. And then you ll also know how to spend it as you will probably “burn” most of it if you leave it ingame.
But again, I’m not rich and 200$ is a nice extra IRL for someone like me. :dunce:
Personally (And I will probably get - rep for this ) looking back if I had an uber hof like that in my first 3 days I would hope that the community would have advised me to withdraw all and never darken PE again!
I love PE just as much as everyone on here, but an uber hof like that in your first 3 days allows you to be one of an “Elite” bunch of players that can actually retire and say they made money from PE! Thats a very special club indeed and one many of us will never see
Kerham makes some excellent points that if you do stay in game you should follow to the letter as any player who doesnt fully understand the game can get stung/scammed very easily by either other PE players or even bad economical hunting/crafting etc.
that is ausome that you get a uber in your first week much less days.
just don’t get scamed and be smart about what you buy don’t just get something on a whim. :wise:

Newbies are not suppsed to find that large deposits, the system has been set to prevent that. Such lucky ones are usually bound to play for many years to come and have a nasty habit of becoming elite miners withing weeks. And we just can not tolerate that… :tongue2:
